Hi, yesterday it was like a christmas day to me, because I received my first new rep, a 42 Omega Seamaster CrPO, that I bought in TrustyTime/Andrew. The watch it's in fact a very god rep, do not know if it's super rep, but for me it is!! :-) Can't find major flaws, and the looking and feeling it's really like a gen one. Now some photos (in a gen case from my other Seamaster - just for a better looking ) There is one thing that I need to resolve, the crystal sealant it's misaligned, and it's visible between 9h and 13h. For me I don't consider it a flaw. The crown and the HE valve are just like the gen one in the look, however I do not like the feeling when I operate with it. It's something wrong with it. The pearl it's a good pearl, considering the other versions of the rep PO's that I saw here, however when I touch it, the feeling it's very "rude": The bracelet it's perfect!! Great building quality, very solid and the satin finish it's really spot on: What I do not like is the movement. The balance it's very well made, but everything else it's very poor. I wish they have a closed version or the metal parts (chassis, etc) with a brushed finish just to give a better look: And now my gen Seamaster that I bought new many years ago. On this case, it's the midsize version. I just love it!!! :-) I need to send it to Omega to made a restoration and service. Really hope that Omega give a new look in the bracelet Side-by-side of course the size difference it's very visible: The lume, it's almost the same in the rep and the gen: And now in the wrist: I've got a 6,5 inches wrist (17.5cm), and I was concern about it. I do not like big watches, but this 42mm it's the perfect size!! :-) And now, just to close this post, my other Omega. It's a rep that I bought in second hand, but it have many problems... Just hate the yellow crystal, and....it's not working... :p It's a future project. ;-) However, it's a beautiful Omega And that's all. My best regards,2 points

I'm updating with images of this watch revised, as it has been rebuilt with a new movement and dial. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures of the progression on this one like I usually do (as I was preoccupied with just getting it all together), so all you guys get is 4 images Maybe the next time I do a tear down, I'll take the time to capture this one properly in various stages of undress...1 point

Well it finally arrived. I previously owned the MBW Nautilus in S/S a few years ago. It simply didn't get enough wristime so I moved it on. Since I've been on a Rosegold binge lately, I decided to pick up this RG Nautilus. Overall the watch is very well executed. My twp big gripes are the terribly soft lug bar screws and the stupidly soft lug bar pins. Shaving down the lugs to fit the OEM strap with a Dremel was not hard. It can't be done with a small file. You really need to use a Dremel. In my case, I used a thin cutoff disk to gently widdle away at the thickness of the lug insert until it fit into the OEM strap. Not hard, but patience is key. A little at a time, as they say. The big pain was getting the lug bar pins into the strap. Thye're quite soft and they bend easily. In order to fit, they need to remain perfectly straight--a veritable pain in the a** that took me a tedious couple of hours grrrrrr. Anyhow, patience won the game and I eventually got the whole thing together. The silly lug bar screws are useless and they strip very easily. I'm going to cut off the threads and glue the screw heads in place at some point. This is a nice watch. The finish is terrific. It NEEDS an OEM strap. The rep strap is garbage. The clasp is really well done, too. The dial is the usual Nautilus style meaning that it does change colors with the angle of the light hitting it. Pretty neat looking at it as it goes from from dark charcoal to different hues of brownish grey. The brushed versus shiny finishing on the watch is stunning, too.1 point

I need details, is it AWD or RWD? RWD uses an indexed control arm and bushing which is centered in the bushing carrier so "misalignment" is fairly unlikely. AWD uses a round bushing carrier (the same part used on the E30 and E36 as well!) so a bushing could become "misaligned" there too but it is highly unlikely and I've never seen it happen. E46s like to eat front bushings so I recommend replacing them on a regular basis. If you're noticing an increase in "looseness" in the front end, that's the first thing I'd change. I installed '96-99 M3 bushings on my 330xi and it was a nice upgrade although for 90% of the driving, decent stock bushings will be fine. You will want to keep an eye on your rear springs too, they have a habit of breaking! That's the part I replace most often on an E46 these days but that's because I've already changed all the window regulators on my customer's cars! Happy driving! ~Brendan1 point

Rather than hunt for a fly with a shotgun, get down to specifics. pick a brand you like, go to that respective forum and read. Do your research and make up your own mind. When you get a little knowledge, then you can make a decision as to whether or nort the particular watch fits you. Like 1680 said, all that tterminology is just advertising hype. If you go to the TD websites, every other watch is the new "Ultimate Supreme" Super duper 1:1 like gen, yada, yada, yada. Most of the "Super reps" are super because the member modded the watch with all sorts of genuine/aftermarket parts, case sculpting, etc.1 point

LIke Freddy and all the others said, when the watch is on the wrist and far from a 40x zoom lens then it is really hard to get called out, i mean guys over on TRF sometimes miss the IHS on a 16570 or a gmt master. There was a flame post a few years ago over there where it took the TRF so-called "experts" 10 posts just to notice that the ceramic bezel markings were too grey to be pt brushed and another 5 more or so to finally notice that the watch had the IHS... WM or TC watches do have their imperfections but still... unless you have a bionic implanted eye with a 10x zoom capability.... or a case opener in hand....well you get it... although a case opener is the last resort since if you get a rep rolex in your hand and want to test it all you have to do is just try and adjust the hour hand, gen 3035 adjusts to the oposite side of any asian or eta My thoughts...1 point

I also checked with some pictures from web, looks like a real eta mov't, and dealer promised it is a real eta with higher cost than sw240, not sure if it's correct ! Whatever, I feel something unsatisfactory on my purchase.1 point
