Ending the work week wearing my '41

FINISHED this is my first finished strap !!! there are obviously some flaws and errors that I will endeavour to learn to correct for the next one, but please critique away !! info - French army ammo pouch, not sure of age. I tried to keep some of the original stitch holes and cracks in to keep the character of the leather.

BK came back from China to announce that "George" from the WM9 factory had died by crashing his Lamborghini, but the Factory was family-owned and would continue to some degree. TC then discovered the factory and sells the world-famous WM9 Yacht Master now. But no one calls it WM9 anymore ..

I will give you a hint..... This is the BEST sub!!! and I already own it... so now you have to do your homework on how to get the SECOND best sub...

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I think BK is the best source for the WM9 products. There was a post I saw somewhere where he showed what he did to 'fix' a WM9 v2 Sub for another forum member that had gotten his directly from WM9. Mainly small things, but the end result was a better watch. Pricing is the same, so no reason not to go with BK. On another note, I think the initial post should not have been in the 'scammer' section (thanks to whoever moved it), and that's why the OP might have gotten some negative comments directed at him. If he wanted info on BK/WM9 he should have posted in the General Discussion, Rolex or BK's subforum instead. If the same post had shown up in one of those places, I think the reaction would have been more subdued. I think the general consenus from the experienced membership here (and on other forums) is that BK and WM9 are not scammers and are well respected producers of high quality reps. Granted, some of the responders could have been a little nicer about it, but they were ultimately just trying to support a couple of the good guys in our hobby.

I believe that happy_alexx asked a genuine question. The reason I say that is that, I thought that this forum was to keep us from buying form the wrong dealer and getting sccamed. So I believe the question is absolutely ok. I do not believe asking if someone is ok to deal with should call for reprimand from the members. My believe is that if someone would ask if I was trustworthy to do business with, I would not be offended or defensive by that question.

give alexx a break i was wondering about the same question a while ago but didn't bother to ask cuz im not that big of a rolex fan @alexx: a little more research could've given u the exact answer u need, and posting in this section made everybody else get offended @everyone else: just chill! u can see from alexx's first post how polite he was in asking his questions, with no inted of flaming cheers

No need to jump on this guy, he hasn't used language that implies he's trying to kick up anything at all... However alexx, the responses you have are a result of you being lazy as there is enough information to answer all of the questions you have on the board. We appreciate - with the amount of information that is available.. that people spend a while searching topics before starting a thread of their own. Interestingly enough; given the niche topic and level of knowledge needed to understand much about the board, many people find they read the board for weeks before they are confident enough to start discussing things, but the answers ARE there.. To do you a favour and answer your post I'll tell you that WM9 products are well praised as is BK's exceptional service. As I understand it WM9 had some trouble with some far far earlier products, however is not the case with the current ranges. You can purchase confidently with both of the dealers you enquired about. Whats more - BK's satisfied customer list stretches extremely far.
