OMG! I just picked up my modded 111 from Marlin at the post office! I simply love it. Usually when a watch comes in I just like it a lot and I will end up selling it after a couple months. But this baby is a definite keeper! After coming home I took off the rep strap and put on a gen strap. That turned it into a even more beauty! I think I feel comfortable wearing this in front of gen owners or in any AD. Ofcourse I will not wear it in an AD, Im just trying to explain how happy I am with her good looks. I was too excited so I only took a quick wristie in the back-yard in front of my plants as I just watered them wearing my beloved one. More pics will be done this weekend! Thank you Marlin! Thank you Asian rep goddess Faki Watshi! More pics as promised: Mods done: Y-Incabloc Polished ratchet wheel bevel Polished crown wheel bevel Brushed and gold plated gear train Long micrometric screw Reshaped swan-neck ETA markings on the main plate Polished and flattened canon pinion And of course, cleaned, oiled & regulated1 point

I emailed him 4 times over two months, last year, to purchase a 1655 mid-case and case back and never got a reply. I just gave up on it and went a different way. Others were emailing him and he was responding, but not to me.1 point

Gentlemen, do you know of any outstanding issues still needing resolution with Messi10? Anyone still needing access to him via PM? I'm ready to drop the hammer. If anyone needs me to wait awhile, speak up. We don't need this crap here. Thank you gentlemen for attempting to teach this guy some manners.1 point

Most 21j movements usually have plastic holders, and mostly the clone 2824/2836/7750/7753 use some type of metal.(just my experience though)1 point

Yes. I think you're nuts. Destroying a gen 1675 to build a franken would be just insane. But we only live once. You gotta do what you gotta do.1 point

If the Noob-Factory is just looking for an excuse to charge more $$$ for the PAM127, then I wish they would just do so and stop making excuses every other week as to why they aren't being produced. First, something about the domed crystals; now, the dials are screwed up.... what's next? Either get them made, and get them made right, and in a timely fashion sufficient to meed customer demand; OR, stop production indefinitely until you can work out all of the production bugs; OR, just stop making them altogether. It's beginning to seem to me that the noob factory simply bit of more than they could chew with the undertaking of the new rep requirements for this latest version of the PAM127 and that they have been trying to scramble on the fly to get a few of these made here and there when they have the time to spare from their other rep productions. Anyway, I know this is a hobby that requires lots, and lots, and lots of patience; HOWEVER, since they are not giving these things away for FREE, I think we have the right as customers to complain now and again when it is clearly warranted. So stand up fellow consumers and let the noob factory know that you want your watch made in a timely fashion, especially since many of us have already paid in full for them months ago. Whew! Glad I finally got all that off my chest!1 point

Not sure what the steel was on the rep but nothing compares to the overall lustre a genuine Rolex has! That said it compared qiute well and did not have the dull finish in low light that the reps used to have in the past.1 point
