  1. M2m for me every time. Some true gents on this forum ( you know who you are!) I even stick to uk sellers as I know when one of their pieces comes up it will be a cracker, I'd rather wait on these guys to sell than deal with china again. Ps. Stay away from sixx! He gets very confused. You buy a watch, he sends all sorts of other goodies. straps, buckles, sweeties and more!!! The poor man is clearly vulnerable and I simply would not want to see him taken advantage of. ;-) if you fellas can just give him some space and avoid his sales threads I will make sure he's looked after.

  2. This is my latest creation. Just looking for a better bezel assembly at a reasonable price.

  3. Guys, I've been searching for a gen bezel assembly for a new Franken I recently purchased from wiseguy. My search yielded this eBay seller in India that has a gen dial and bezel set for $800. This seems like a great price, but feels risky. He would not sell me just the bezel assembly. I'd be grateful for your expert eyes to determine whether these look like the real deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-Rolex-Oyster-Perpetual-Date-SUBMARINER-Ref-116610-Dial-Ceramic-Bezel-/390844777033?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b002a0249 Note: The seller has multiple sets. 5. This arrived yesterday and I am being converted by my friend Legend into AP's. Given this is the new 44mm I can confirm I am happy with the size as I usually wear 46/48mm PAM's and others. AJ

  8. Yep, If this turns out well he will wish he had charged more! The dial will go for that alone and I only want the insert and bezel assembly to be honest.

  10. Ideally you need the correct sized PAM caseback remover found on the bay or similar, failing that a rubber type of ball pushed tightly against the caseback and rotate the ball in an anti clockwise direction. Failing that a roll of ducktape rolled up into a ball pushed hard against the caseback and rotated with pressure being applied might do it. You then need to remove the crown and stem, remove the movement and refit the hand. Hope this helps, pm me if you need more. Regards AJ

  11. Hi Dave Here you go mate 1. the outer markers on all gen dials are printed very close to the outer edge, the outer markers always sit flush to the rehaut, as you can see this isn't the case on this awful franken 2. the coronet shape isn't correct for any of the 3 versions of the early T SWISS T dials that stern produced 3. The orange 24hr hand is totally incorrect in terms of length and profile, not long enough, too fat and no taper down to the arrow head 4. The cg's aren't 'long or square' enough and are incorrect in terms of profile, have a look at any of the Gen 1675 or 1655 and you'll see what i mean. 5. The CG's are also very thick, again compared to all gen 1655 and 1675 which have an up turned thin side profile 6. Look at the inners of the CG's, they should have a clean steep angle ending in a nice right angle. not the stepped effect this has 7. the engravings are incorrect in terms of font and numeral style for any early 1970's rolex 8. No chafer on the outer edges of the case, which happens to look brand new Hope that helps DH

  14. I think for gen should be ¨never again¨ if for rep ¨never again¨ than this is not your place to hang out. First you have to make sure you shipped it airmail with tracking number and one month is within a normal waiting time. Contact Josh to ask if he received it or not.

  15. Always best to buy a watch put together w/ care than the factory bang them out version, nice wear in good health. Damn Degsy that 111 looks huge on you being a 44 had to double check size!

  16. The reason it took so long to sell was probably the price. I didn't see the for sale post so I'm not implying that you paid too much, but the Little Hero PAM 111's were around $1,000 depending on which version you have. At the time they came out they were easily the best 111 rep you could buy (think TC or WM9 Sub). Since then, the base 111 reps have gotten so much better that not everyone would still see the added value of the Little Hero. If the Noob factory came out with a Sub that was as good as their 111, you'd probably see a lot more TC and WM9 Subs not selling quickly too..

  19. this thread disappoints on so many levels i had half expected to see a teeny tiny mouse living in the watch running a treadmill to power the watch

  27. Andrew is a great dealer,1 of the best. The only thing i would say is his postage charges could come down a bit. He used to use ems but now sends via hong kong air mail that is cheaper, but still charges $45. the most expensive postage from any dealer. Come on Andrew get that postage price down .

  28. Found this one. But it's to small. The co-axial has a case diameter of 44,25. That's what I am looking for. Tapped and talked with my Viper-HOX
