  2. Ken, You know they are going to squeeze you every way they can. One problem to me is thus far they really don't have any viable competition. Others have tried, but it seems like everyone else has fallen by the wayside. If there were legitimate competition, possibly they would develop some flexibility, but since there isn't they ain't!!

  5. Stan is awesome. I know him from RG. Have you bought any of his Burberry scarves at Christmas? They are damned spot on to the genuine. They are soft as hell, he has every color option, and the price is killer. They make the best gifts or just stock up for yourself. $20! [emoji2]

  6. Just received this one. Needed a white dialed dress watch to wear with suits and I like the 39mm size. Strap needs to be changed but deployment buckle is nice. Nice piece on the cheap. First OTB I have bought in a long time. I don't see these around either which is cool. Very nice piece for the money. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  7. 10000% At our local Rolex Dealer they don't know their behind from their elbows on anything but the absolute newest watches, and only people that have been there multiple years could spot only a crude fake. That said, you can bring in *any* decent franken build and they'll "ooh and ahh" all over it. If I wanted to be a real SOB I could take the 5513 in there once it's complete and trade it for a new Daytona. I swear to god they'd probably do it. I'll tell them I bought it from Robert Maron hahaha

  10. Read around forums, there are very well-informed members here that have already explained everything throughout the forums, take your time reading, there's not really a shortcut to understanding wha you want to know, also; it's a personal preference. My advice is to use the TD's (Trusted dealers) on this forum to order your watch from. Good luck!

  14. The Rolex DateJust 16013 from 1981. Dear All, This is my first two tone watch. I have never been a fan of yellow gold, but I was looking for one as a dress watch. When I received it, I have been wearing it for a week non-stop. The complete set! A great find again from my buddy at subgmt.com My only other watch which has such a complete set is my 16610. On the wrist Some different angles, some different dial colours Between the lugs The bracelet A couple more Conclusion I’m too young to wear this kind of watch in my opinion. I should have to wait for another 15 years to match it. I like it very much, but as usual, I can’t keep a watch in a box and never wear it. So, it is now traded for a tritium explorer II from 1995! Thanks for looking and reading. Cheers Stephane
