  1. I posted this as a PS in another topic, but I figured it needed a topic of its own. All traffic between RWG and your computer is now encrypted. Since we have established a store with a checkout facility hooked up to Stripe.com, we wanted you to feel safe when you enter your personal info, and since we encrypt the traffic on these pages, we might as well do it on all the other pages. So on most pages, you should see a closed lock when you browse RWG. However, there will be certain pages, until the caching server has caught up with the recent changes, that will display so called "mixed content", meaning that some of the content is not encrypted. This is usually pictures loaded from the server and this error will disappear after a while. All pages where you enter personal details (login, checkout, store, donations, etc) does not have this problem, so your info is perfectly safe,

  2. This is my first time to mod 1600 cases to 1016 specs. I must admit I did not believe it would look the part due to the significant difference of design of the lugs between the two models, but finally, it prooved to be possible. The lugs were shortened by 1/2 mm as the DJ has very sleek and pointed lugs when the 1016 has a different, more sporty shaped form of lugs. The lug holes were relocated higher and now appear equidistant from all edges. The lugs upper part was significantly lowered to have the surface appear larger. The crown side was shaved to create the distinct tonneau shape of the 1016, when 1600 have a triangular shape. Final touch was to erase the original reference number only, leaving all other engravings intact and refinishing the brushed finish overall! Now, with a nice "1016" properly engraved under the original REGISTERED DESIGN, these cases will rock!!! As for the casebacks, one was good to have its eges restaured, but the other was beyond salvage. I did a "US dealer" brushed finish that allowed to refinish all side edges nicely. Enjoy the pics !!!!

  4. After selling all my reps back in February, I decided to start from scratch and go the vintage Rolex route. I'm 5 watches in so far but hope to keep it under 10 in total so they all get some wrist time and can be of good quality. I wanted to thank PBDad for his builds, and Jase (JDog on most of the forums) for his outstanding modding work and lastly Dave for his servicing as all movements just got serviced outside the Heritage as it's brand new anyways. And YES I suck at photography but I don't have the time at the moment to do this justice.. 5. I for one have always seeked for the full set look. How better do our vintage Rollies look than surrounded by an original box and all the ephemera that came with it when new?

  7. Wow, this came a s a bit of a shock, however one of my business partners just called me to tell me my 'present' will arrive today or tomorrow so I need to be there to pick it up and go through the handover as this is one of if not the most complex motorbikes ever. The Ninja Kawasaki H2 is an engineering marvel that is supercharged with adjustable boost and a whole list of extras, to say I am excitied is an understatement and a few more pics later will follow! Nikki (stuart) this one might be a great one to have a go on :-) Regards AJ

  14. Working just fine for me, Ken. As usual, clean our those cookies and temporary files in your browser and make sure your browser is not set up to block cookies (You would probably have noticed this, as you would have the same problem on all sites you visit if this was not working. Anybody else have problems with the "Remember me"-toption when logging in not working and they have to log in every time they visit the site?
