  1. Well, 1000 posts! I wanted to thank everyone here at RWG for the journey of discovery I have been on since joining. Like many here I have learned from the best. I didn’t have a clue when I started, everything about modding watches I have learned here (I am still learning), and perhaps a few things from the neighbours too. However, I have always felt very much at home here and in great company. Initially all I wanted to do was to find a decent 42mm Planet Ocean. After reading through lots of advice and opinions I ordered one from Josh at Perfect Clones. The watch was great and I was hooked, the rest is history as they say. So after 1000 posts, I wanted say thanks guys and present my modest collection: PO 42mm 5517 5513 5512 IWC XVI 1665 1016 5513

  8. DOS attack could be fun! P's idea above is a good one, if you have pics of a build, or a special watch, maybe tag them as above?!

  13. thats a very decent base to work from. that one is modded i take it? cgs, lug holes. what i would attempt is thinning the bezel ring, top could lose a bit of thickness, dull the teeth out a bit and shave the bottom slightly. is the beveling weak or did you just "age" it softer?

  14. I tried a gen 1570 with the new cartel case I got from Sead. The movement fits & the stem lines up but it sits too high for the case back to screw in. Maybe a 1520 might fit better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Over bleached Cartel insert replaced by a cheap cousins insert. Not very accurate but nice enough for the moment. And the same insert bleached and heated.
