Last week I received my AP Diver JF V7. Here is a quick comparison next to my AP Diver from Noob Factory. - The engravings on the JF are much better (crown, backcase and buckle) - The Dial structure is better on JF - Lume is better on JF - The noob dial is a bit more glossy compared with the JF - Colour of the strap is better on JF NoobJFLinks: JFRechts: NoobJF NoobJFNoobOnder: JFBoven: Noob

The GMT is now done... This watch... God !!!! It took ages to achieve but now it's finally allright. The hardest part was to get the handstack right. The height of every element is of paramount importance. If the lume is too high the GMT hand does not pass... And most dials you'll find will have the lume made too high, like on a sub. But this isn't a Sub! The dial was custom made in Vietnam on a gen spec plate with ETA feet. Roulette wheel, gen-all-you-can, meaning: crown+insert+crystal. Phong bezel assy. A big BRAVO to Joe for the awesome engravings ! Movement modified for the date and GMT to behave as they should on a gen movement: non quick set and non adjustable. Enjoy the pics, Rolojack.

Yeap, the Clark T19 does that to the rehaut. CWP T19 is better, but pricier.

Dean, Generally the purpose of "freezing the 12 hour totalizer is due to the movement. The genuine Omega movement is a tricompax ( three working subdials). The movement that is commonly used in a lot of rep Chronographs is the Seagull ST19 which is a very solid movement that is built using the original tooling from the Venus 175, which Seagull bought from Venus back in the 1960's. The Seagull is a Bicompax movement , so it only has two working subdials. Thus the need to "freeze" the non functional subdial. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

But if you're going for a full tilt rep, you'll need a 1530 movement and should use a 700 crown, but may have to settle for an Athaya one since gens are tough to find. Not sure about the case being as thin as you want- also, the bezel teeth are too sharp and need to be smoother, better worn. I don't know where you are, but rolojack has been doing case shaping. 7206 bracelets have gotten expensive- too much competition for vintage parts these days. But you're on the right course for a first class build, I can see you spending $3-4K usd, but that is cheaper than a gen which would be $10K plus these days.

Once upon a time, earlier this year, I fell victim to the alluring concept of the replica watch. By simply typing the words "replica watch" on google, many sites came up, but none of the reputable ones you will find in this forum. Instead, you will be plagued by the biggest ripoff scam websites on the internet. I have discovered the largest watch ripoff umbrella on the internet. The group of internet based companies have the same swiss upgrade gimmick and are based primarily out of New York. If you buy from one of the following sites, you WILL be ripped off!! I almost fell victim to one of these rip off sites and thank god I found a reputable rep forum that saved me. Here is what I know: - The dealer will convince you to do C.O.D or Wire Transfer. - If you are out of the USA, they will say that due to security and fraud that credit card orders will not be accepted. They will convince you to do a money wire since that is the next safest method since you will have their business bank account information. Little do you know that the info provided is not actually a bank account!! It is a routing number where your funds are redirected several times until it ends up in a pre-paid debit/credit card company. The money enters the fraudster's prepaid debit/credit card where the funds are withdrawn immediately. These pre-paid accounts are set up all over the United States and are extremely hard to track. There are many aliases and phone numbers that these scammers use. They don't really have a base of operations and work off pre-paid cell phone numbers. They have set up a fake rep review site called http://www.fakereviews.com and http://www.replicainspector.com. The pictures used on these sites are of actual gen watches!! Not the watch(es) you may or may not receive. How do I know so much? I almost fell victim and actually wired funds to bluefakes. Luckily I have very powerful friends in the banking industry. With thorough investigation and persistance, I tracked to where the funds ended up. I not only got my money back, but ended up freezing several of their accounts and money returned back to other victims.
