  2. Hi guys, once the summer/ spring vibes are getting in, I tend to buy a rubber strapped watch every season. Last year I had to get the blue rubber strapped Avenger II GMT. I still have this piece above but I recently saw the new launched Superocean Blacksteel. A bit more badass looking so... here it is! The nearly 3 days shipping time nowaydays is a party! The deal was smooth as always thanks to Andrew from Trustytime. He never let me down in the last 10+ years. Thumbs up! Some specs from Trustytime: Link to watch: BSW0355 - SuperOcean 44 BlackSteel DLC/RU Blk/Stk GF Asia 2824 [bSW0355] - $368.00 : Trusty Time Online Store, Your Trusty Watch Shop GF Factory Top Edition Superocean 44 BlackSteel Limited Edition MOVEMENT: Nickel Plated Asia 2824-2 Automatic, 28800bph with Decorated Rotor CASE DIAMETER: 44mm THICKNESS: 15mm DIAL COLOR: Black Dial with Thick Lume Markers (With Swiss Grade SuperLume applied) CASE MATERIAL: High Grade DLC Coating on Solid Stainless Steel 316F **Working HE Valve at the side of case BRACELET: High Grade Rubber Strap Ocean Style with Double Tang Buckle FRONT GLASS: Sapphire Crystal with AR Coat (Swiss Grade) CASE BACK: Solid case back with detailed engraving BEZEL: Uni-Directional High Quality Ceramic Bezel HACK MOVEMENT: Yes CLASP TYPE: Double Tang Buckle DATE INDICATOR: At 3:00 position (Adjusted via crown) - Date Font 1:1 like Genuine OTHER REMARKS: Waterproofed to 30m direct from Factory Case: First thing I noticed was the 100% superb smooth DLC'd case. It seems the HE valva is also actually working on this modell which is pretty unique if you ask me. The factory did a great job on that. Really worth mentioning. Bezel: The bezel has a satin/matte/ brushed kinda finish which pops out strongly, I love the combination of the two different finishings. The numbers in the bezel are also very crisp. Dial: The dial finish is really on a high level. To be honnest these GF watches are extremely close to GEN and the watch does give you this GEN feeling when handeling. What also caught my eye is the extreme smooth sweeping of the second hand. None of my watches are running that smooth and steady. Also the dial pops out very nice due to the strong AR'd crystall. Strap: Butter soft with nice details like the holes and the text "Breitling'' on the back, Also I like these type of clasps! For the BR nitpickers, the datewheel is not sunken so you guys will love that. I am impressed with the overall quality factories nowadays are producing. The difference between REP and GEN are getting extremely close these days. I am happy with this all black summer watch... It looks sporty. 100% satisfied! ONCE YOU GO BLACK, YOU...... TELL ME! Enjoy the pics I took. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk

  3. I never imagined I would own this grail. A genuine Michael Kors. Look at those diamonds, those sub dials, and the SELs, you could never get closer SELs because they are part of the case😂 Found in a chest of drawers I bought at auction, it needed a new pin in the bracelet and a battery, both of which came from my used junk box, so it has cost me exactly what it is worth.

  4. This! It’s the only way to go if you want to see your watches!

  5. German customs are harsh on goods from China. Triangle shipping via U.K. is the way to go.

  8. Is that how you manage to post so many wristies? You only wear them for three minutes each

  9. I remember one day when I forgot to wear a watch for three minutes. I had this weird sensation like something was cut off. I checked and that was not it, then I realised I had no watch on. Luckily I had a spare in my pocket to tide me over until I could run back to my watch box.

  10. When I’m feeling a t**t, I take my watch off. It’s the gentlemanly thing to do for a number of reasons🤣

  13. I had a similar problem when I was cutting my first ETA 2824 Stem to length for a new build. I incorrectly figured that cutting the stem a little longer was not going to be an issue... When I screwed in the crown, the yoke slipped over the sliding pinion and the winder was stuck in the calendar position. I found the following video extremely useful. I believe it visually explains Matt's description correctly:

  14. Just in... Got the SS bracelet for it too, but changing the rubber out seems so difficult...
