  3. I think the date wheel font is good, however the numbers are not ‘gloss’ like the gen date wheel numbers which can catch the light very slightly.

  4. From my perspective I only believe Tariq entered our beautiful hobby to source the most faithful AP replicas and sell them as genuine to his "clients". He reneged on sales once he found out they would not pass as gen. He caused nothing but trouble on RWI. People went out of their way to help him too as they thought he was one of us, just interested in owning replica watches and modding them. He also had a history of getting other, more respected members involved to plead his case for him. I am personally glad to see him gone.

  11. My MBWs and my Phongs do that too. It's easy to separate the parts once you have them off the case. Go ahead and warp the spring, but be EXTRA careful that it stays concentric with the rehaut neck as you press the bezel on. My Phongflake is notorious for this... I can get the bezel on with the spring captured funny in there, and it's impossible to turn. Remove and repeat, and when it clicks on right, it's suddenly very obvious that it's right... it's proud of the case a smidgen, and doesn't want to move much, but when I push it down it turns smoothly.

  12. thx, the problem is that the retention ring and the bezel ring sit very tight together on the 1665 and they pop out in one piece.
