This one was a Tiger, we'd dropped in a HiPo engine from a GT Mustang and added solid lifters, 3/4 cam, Offenhauser intake, 750 Holley, Sanderson headers, 11.5:1 pistons, the works. Oh, and a 2.77:1 rear end. It was built for autocross and who needs to change gears once you're driving? What a beast. It had puny little cherry bomb "mufflers" and at idle sounded like a nuclear popcorn popper gone berserk.

Maybe, along with the GT40 and the E Type perhaps. Back in the day we Brits could design a damn pretty car. 😚

I have a friend in Spokane, Washington of all places, a high school biology teacher. Maaaaaaaany many years ago he bought a 427 Cobra and tucked it away in his garage as his "retirement". In all those years he's put 50 miles on it. I'd say his retirement is going to be quite comfortable.

Still here... but damn. This place is almost dead. A real pity. Don’t know why. I spend most of my time lurking at RepGeek under a different name. Sold most of my reps and still do a a lot of watch restaurations and other watch work. Mainly gens. Father of 2 beautiful daughters (4&7) which grow up way too fast. Working for the ‘man’ still sucks and hoping I can make a living out of watches somehow in the future. A man can dream.... All the best Mark

Cartel which has many faults and depends what you can live with then Phong, which really just has one fault😂 16610 JF is about as good as anyone ever really needs. The clone movements have got better recently, but probably will still need a decent modder watchsmith to give it a quick spray of WD40 and a sharp smack on the side of the desk at some point
