  1. Over two years and about $4000 lighter in the pocket should be warning enough for you! JTB

  3. Enjoyable game at Anfield tonight. Two cack defences and some great attacking play made for a good game.Although I have to say that the 'pool had a touch of the old vampire syndrome - shittin themselves at crosses..... but got there in the end thanks to the big beanpole. Thank god that Sukur seems to have forgot how to finish in his dotage! JTB
  4. TICKETS? TICKETS? GET YOUR TICKETS HERE. JTB
  5. I always preferred the Jock Stein approach.......... "Jimmy (Johnstone)......if we win by 4 clear goals tonight, you won't have to fly for the return leg." And what happened? Jinky scored twice and made the 3 other goals against Red Star Belgrade and didn't need to travel. JTB
  6. Congratulations on the new home Gunnar. Have a safe and happy trip to Italy. JTB
  7. Somebody said "Make sure you get the beachballs in the picture"...........so they did! JTB

  10. Am I wrong or does history prove that Dutch strikers tend to be right moody tossers with rice-glass egos? RVN........Van Hoojidonk.........Van Basten..........even smokie joe Cruyff could throw a strop or two. Discuss. JTB
  11. At those prices I would use the quaint Glasgow expression commonly heard around the peoples market known as "The Barras"......................."Yer huvvin a laff son!" JTB
  12. We're off and running now chaps. Hail Hail JTB
  13. There is no doubt the PGA Tour is the most rewarding financially and that is its primary draw, but that doesn't make it the best tour and consequently not a true litmus of players ability. Some Europeans go there in search of a big pay day but I would still argue that the courses around the UK and Europe present a bigger and varied challenge. America needs to change its 2 year qualification format as well. You had a couple of guys in there that got in on the strength of what they did 2 years ago and whose current form was shaky at best. As for World No. 2 Mickleson, he looked completely disinterested. Probably more excited about the fishin'. JTB
  14. Indeed. There are some nice tools up for grabs here and I know that more and more members are starting to experiment with some of their lower end reps. Ideal time to get a good set of tools I'd say. C'mon people let's get this lottery buzzing along. JTB

This is a very significant point. It's easy to pick out the faults when the watch is magnified ten fold. This watch watch looks great for the money that I know some dealers are selling it for. JTB

  21. I don't care what the rankings say (money orientated anyway) but Europe has the best golfers in the world and have had for some time. They play on more varied and challenging courses day and daily and so their game is more adaptable. The result was no surprise to me, however it should have been 19-9 but for wee McGinlay showing pity on his opponent. JTB
  22. Why not? They say smoking stunts growth and this is exactly what this thread needs. N'est pa? JTB
