  1. Should be no problem, I got a black reptile cown from Josh once as bonus material. However, if they don
  2. Is this in the area where the Fife shipyard has been? Great Foto!
  3. Sometimes all that would help is a little luck... Enjoy the watch and never sell it. That story is worth beeing told in a few decades!
  4. The swiss (low beat) 6497 runs with 18.800 bph, the high beat asian version with 21.600 bph like the gen. If you compare this with the 28.800bph of an ETA 2428-II you know what to expect. If you devide these numbers by 3600 you get the steps the second hand will do per second.
  5. May I comment that even the most perfect H-series CG won
  6. The question concerning the nature of the repair is: Was the watch fixed (balance wheel blocked due to bad oiling) or was something replaced that added value to the watch (new movement for example). In case something expensive has been replaced they would ask tax on the replacement part and related work (new movement) Just tell them you don
  7. Oh, what went wrong? I read on the german customs website that you are officially tolerated to import one replica watch (value limit for that is 175€) personally when coming into country...
  8. PAM 111H (stainless steel with sandwich dial and small second at 9) and basic asian movement (CDG decoration and OP XI bridges, but missing swan neck). Crown and crown guard are as nice as they
  9. This is not about a new production run by Palp...
  10. Do you have more detailed info? If so let us know more!
  11. With the automatic movement it does not need a cannon pin fixas the dimensions of the canon pin is different from a basic 6497. The hands wont fit on a 6497 movement. Maybe you can ask Joshua if that case would take a 6497 movement as well if you use a different crown, just in case you want to upgrade it later. Everything else is just fine for a budget version. The lever is not completely locked on the picture, but i think it will be possible. However, I would prefer to pay a few bucks more and chose a Unitas6497-type movement, no matter if asian or swiss.
  12. CG and CG chamber for the crown are about 0,5mm too high that
  13. Check Joshua or Andrew, correct prices, nice quality, very reliable dealers! Both highly recomended! But I strongly recommend to decide between closed caseback and sandwich dial, there is no gen Pam that has both so if you find this on a rep its a fantasy watch.
  14. Nothing against stallone, but I guess Rambo is still in Guantanamo because of his Afghanistan-adventures. Didn
  15. Thank you ST, niche drawings, but rather decorative. I took the required dimensions from a Joshua PAM and just want to find out if others are close to these dimensions to make sure that part will fit most PAM reps without or with only minor further corrections to CG lever od gasket thickness. Come on fellows, I am sure I
  16. Hello everybody! I would like to have a little comparison on certain diimensions: Could you check the width of the CG chamber where the crown is in? I
  17. Last details are defined. The final drawings will be knocking at your door soon, t. Give us just a few days until the beginning of next week. We all have a life outside the world of watches.
  18. From A to G series the thumbnail buckle was standard, except for the 005 which started with the G-series.From H onwards it was the Pre-V style buckle. But many PAM-fans chose the Pre-V or similar since there is much more choice with straps in 24/24.
  19. Can you get these movements from him? I
  20. For 200$ to 250$ you
  21. Mine is 17cm (7.6") and I wear my PAM on a leather strap all the time. Wouldn
