  1. Nice watch... no offense but you've got a freaky arm though J/k Jon
  2. Thanks, wrist is right at 7 1/4" to 7 1/2". Relatively small but I'm a big dude so I can pull it off. Jon
  3. Yeah, what can I say, I've spent so much on watches this month, I was a little short on cash for the pics
  4. Received another order today from Trusty. I've had the Sub and the Fiddy for about a week now. YM and 45mm PO came in today. Only mods thus far are polishing up the bracelets a bit on the Sub and the PO. Yachtmaster actually came DOA I'm waiting on Andrew to get back to me on a fix now. Meanwhile enjoy the pics..... Jon
  5. I hear everyone talking about Loctite. I know it is used in automobiles. Any one know where to pick some up without having to order from a specialty retailer online? In the states, I mean? I'm thinking, home depot, lowes, ace, or advanced auto perhaps??? I know you need to buy the weaker rated stuff for the small screws we deal with. I've been thinking I should add it to a couple of my watches, especially my new fiddy. Jon
  6. Yeah I hear the batteries won't last through an entire movie, so this would be a must
  7. Hey all, Loving my P A M 127 Fiddy from Andrew. I would like a new strap though. Seen some options but not on the watch. Looking to see if anyone can post some pics of what they have. I'm considering another caramel (just better quality) but the black ones are eyeing me too. Gotta be a 26 x 26 though. Thanks in advance, Jon
  8. Nice collection. Is that a 42 or 45mm planet ocean? Looks pretty large?
  9. Wow, it took a long time to read this entire thread but some very good points have been made. When I started reading this thread I thought it wasn't much of a big deal. If a dealer doesn't post their price then fine. I'll still email if I'm interested. If I get a high quote and another has the same watch for less I'll buy from him instead. It all works out in the end. At least here I know I can trust who I am buying from. I've dealt like this with several dealers thus far and only bought from two, Andrew and Eddie. What I think we are forgetting is that these dealers don't post everything they have in stock on our site. If we are having a feeding frenzy here buying up massive amounts of POs or Subs then a posted price will make buying the "10 or 12" that are available much easier. But ironically several of the watches that I myself have purchased weren't even recent posts on any of the four Rep forums. Many were ones that were just in the seller's photo album. So posted prices will pull me in yes, but I don't think they are a necessity for a dealer to get my business. There are obvious benefits to the prices being posted. It will save us all some time. The service will likely be better, though it already seems good to me. Certainly a step in the right direction. But if we are going to take one step why not take two and also make the "Buy it Now" buttons a requirement as well? I know all dealers don't use pp, but they won't get my business anyway. $30 in western union fees are just flat ridiculous. If we require them to post prices, then why not ease the sales process by making the item be buyable without an email at all. Dealers can prefill the "For" lines with whatever stock numbers they like. No more pp accounts will be put on hold, because a newbie bought and put "For Rep Watch" or "Watches from the Replica Watch Group" in the pp information section. Bottom line is: If I get a good price, great product, and great service I will continue to do business. If I don't I will take my business else where. The prices posted or not, I'm still going get what I want when I want. A sleeper dealer that doesn't answer an email will just loose out. Cheers, Jon
  10. Yeah I think Rolex's Designers might be smokin some rocks and/or they've hired Zsa Zsa Gabor to head up the design team! Good thing most of these can't be repped. Jon
  11. Nice shots. Let me see more man more! I'm still waiting on mine. Your right too, for the money it seems to be a pretty good deal. Also according to some of the gen forums, the bezel on the 45 is supposed to be different. I mean the spacing and the scalloping. Cheers, Jon
  12. NC here as well. But I certainly love NYC like the next guy. Would be down for a visit this summer. Maybe a weekend getaway with the girlfriend. And of course a visit to Canal St is always fun.... Jon
  13. Hey and please post some pics when you get it dried out too.... Did you source through Andrew? I've got one 43 and one 45mm PO on order as we speak.
  14. Very Very Nice, hope they rep this one nicely. Chaaaaaaching! It will be bought.
  15. Beautiful watch. Always wanted one. If only there were some decent reps of these out there. Wear it well! Jon
  16. Hey all, I'm a newB from over from the TRC and WT. Glad to be here, looks very nice. Current collection is made up mostly of gens, but poor man's gens. Got some nice stuff on order though. Got a question some of you may have experience with, at least I hope. Any one ever actually been sued or pursued by the friendly guys at G-A-F in NYC? I got one of those friendly letters regarding an auction listing. The guys at the TRC have gotten the same and seem to think its just scare tactics, but wondered if anyone here and residing in the states has any experience? They want money, 300 bucks, for one item that I don't even care about. I mean I'm no dealer it was my first listing. And if I'm gonna spend 300 bucks, its for a pretty darn nice rep not some bogus claim. I've checked out the site www.chillingeffects.org and learned that when you comply with a C & D Letter you can still be sued. So you pay and still get screwed. Any way, other than that stress on my mind right now, I'm patiently waiting for several new additions to my collection. I'm glad to have one more place to hang out online and learn from someone a little more knowledgable than myself. Cheers, Jon
