  1. The Zigmeister, RBJ, or anyone else that knows! I received two sub reps today, both same Asian 21J movement. First 21J movement problem: Wanted to know if you could tell me why the Quickset Date would stop working? When I opened up the first watch and went to set it and check functionality the date set worked, then just quit? It winds OK and it sets time OK, you can even set the date by rolling the hours ahead (the slow way). Quickset just does not work, pain in the [censored]. Any thoughts? Is the movement junk? Do I need to spend $125 to repair a $120 watch? Then the second 21j movement problem: Date set works, time set works, winding works but the watch stops randomly. I've removed the movement. And reinstalled following your techniques to make sure their isn't stress on the crown mechanism. Still same problem. I've had another Asian 21J does this to me before and the dealer swapped. So I recieved two watches today, both are DOA. I'm gonna have to stop buying these CN movements, at least the automatics. I'm not going to reveal the dealer as I would like to give a chance to make this right. So far in my previous purchases he has done me right, hopefully this time he will again. Thanks in advance for any help. Jon
  2. I'm no expert but I know those SEL's look awful on the back side. Dead give away. Jon

  9. I tried beta 7 about 3 or 4 months ago. It worked well, but gave me some side effects on a few other programs so I canned it. I'll wait for its official release so the bugs are fixed.
  10. I tried bribing my gf w/ watches but she doesn't like automatics. She doesn't know how to set watches very well and doesn't wear them consistantly, or enough to keep them wound. And of course I personally hate any watch that has to have a battery. So I gave up. I've bought her two watches, she wears neither . I just buy her other things!
  11. Agree I have the 127 and 192 and love them both, but I'm still waiting for the correct bracelet for the 192 from EL, it shipped with stainless instead of TT Jon
  12. I agree great looking rep! Andrew TWG also has this one, I almost pulled the trigger last week but have already bought waaaaaaaayyyy too many watches this month Jon

  14. I'm sorry to say that my name is now associated with this, but I have nothing to hide so I'm going to join in. This guy contacted me about a watch I had listed for sale on RWI. He didn't want to buy from me but trade me for a Rose Gold R0lex. He also offered others, but luckily I was interested in none of them. So he emails about another guy wanting one of his watches. He tells me that the other guy (Roy) will send me the pp funds. So its basically a three way trade. Roy gets his watch from Scott, I get my money from Roy, and Scott gets his watch from me. Anyway, I find out tonight that this guy Scott is a scammer. I had no idea, I thought I would be getting a good review from this guy for my good trade transaction. Like I said on RWI and through emails I'm really sorry to Roy for your loss. Now that I see pictures, Scott definately did not offer me this watch, it was a Rose Gold D@te-Just on a oyster band, I think from Aspire. I do still have Scott's Email's with all replys from myself. I've posted it below so enjoy guys, Scott sorry man, I'm throwing you to the sharks Here's how this guy worked his scam! Jon P.S. Once again Roy I really am sorry that you got ripped -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon, I sent the info below to the other guy,.....my info is: Scott Hawkins 5165 Crestwood Dr Colorado Springs, CO 80918 thanks! --------- here's what he sent me, I'm going to a movie, will be back in about 2 hours and will get the watch out in the morning...please send me your addy. and I'll get it done with priority and tracking: --------- Scott, Thats cool. 15. Looks like a rep to me. I'm saying this because of the luminous bezel marker. It should also be covered w/ sapphire. Better pictures (closer to the bezel marker) could change my verdict. I've seen the Chrono Avenger and Seawolf reps that are actually accurate in this way, but never seen a Chronomat w/ correct bezel marker. Thats why I don't own one yet Jon
  16. Nice thread. Have you done any mods to the watch like silicon grease on the o rings or is this "as shipped" from your dealer? Thanks Jon
  17. As Wayne and Garth would say "Schaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Need I say I'll be waiting for more posts from you! But for real, your GF must be pretty darn cool I bow to you your greatness

    PAM 050

Looks good. Here's what I noticed: The clasp is wrong. The 40mm PAMs have the single pushbutton release clasp. The first link of the bracelet is wrong, its polished on a part that should be brushed (easy fix) And I can't tell, but does your rep have a recessed pin? Overal great rep though. I'd like to have a nice 220 rep, but I haven't seen one just yet. For now I'll settle w/ a 111 on a bracelet. Jon
