@pete- I thought that the gen dial on the a7750 tricompax movement would not work cause of an issue with the date window being slightly bigger on the gen dial ? -

Thanks for the feedback everybody! I'm after a gen dial + eta 7753 mod. I've already have a gen dial for it. I know the 7753 is hard to source and quite expensive so I'm waiting on the fence for a deal. How about a gen crown ? Is it worth considering? Does any of the forum friends can do such mod ? (Gen dial and 7753 into a rep navi) Thanks, Db1 -

It looks used (some tiny blemishes), I guess you are right - ill need to get it lumed if I plan to use it in a 7753 project Thanks for the tip mate

Thanks for the insights mates ! Good to hear your comments that verify its indeed a gen dial. I believe this dial is the non-Lume version ? (The batons are silver) I plan on a 7753 navitimer franken, this dial might help me. On the back there is no stamp, but brass colored back with some pattern of brushing and the welding (?) points of the markers. The idea is in the future acquire a 7753 and use a gen dial + 7753 in a rep navi case, any thoughts? ( I am aware of the date pusher at 8 o'clock on the 7753 but I won't need it so no hole will be drilled)

Hi guys, I'm looking to get a navitimer rep (tricompax layout, black face eith white sub dials on a leather strap) I've heard andreww has the best navi reps, I'd love to see pics of your navi ? Thanks for the info MD ! I was thinking about the quick set date on the 7753 and realized I won't need it as on the gen there is no quickdate as well I was a bit concerned about fitting the 7753 into the rep case but I've read somewhere on rwg about someone who did that with a gen dial Do you know if anyone else did such mod on a navi rep? thanks for the input! yes ceejay the date set is tricky, but I think that on the gen you set the date by turning the crown ? the secs are @ 9 but on the tricompax layout it has the extra gears to move the sub-dials to 3-6-9 position (have heard rumers about an asian 7753 but I think it's only rumers) do you know if any of the dealers has navitimers in stock ? i've seen PT lists them - not sure if he has them in stock though.

Hi, I love my Bentley GT rep, but recently have fall in love with the Navitimer (tricompax secs @ 9 layout) rep and i've heard some rwg member had successfully put an eta 7753 in it. is it true that using a gen dial, a 7753 will fit right into the rep case ? (pushers line up and etc) What dealer has Navitimer (with the a7750 modded to secs @ 9) ? Many thanks, db1

hey thanks! the one on that link is almost the exact one i had (i've had with numerals instead ot sticks) gotta love my 7750 bentley rep, but as a daily beater it happens to be a good one. db1 -
Hey, I used to have one of those Navitimer tri-compax chrono rep, it was quartz powered. was not the most accurate but a good daily beater. it had totally died on me (crashed into a wall by a mistake) so i am looking for a new one, but for some reason i can see only the 7750 reps around, does anyone know who has them in quartz ? Thanks
