Cher ami, c'est magnifique... but 11 months? wow, you are a man with patience.
As you know I'm not a Rolexguy but these look terrifique, congrats and stunning pics btw
only disvantage I find is you have to screw it off and on, when you want a full shot of the watch you have to take it off and when you want a macro again you have to screw it on
A simple zoomlens with a macrofunction works a lot easier but for 15 euro, that's no waisted money
You can try Offrei in the US or Cousins in the UK or on Ebay
small screwdrivers, tweezers and a handremover, dustcover and postit to protect your dial while removing the hands
a gen Nikon macrolens f.i. micro-nikkor 105mm or a 60mm 1:1 $800
a sigma or Tamron 90mm macro about $ 500
secondhand a micronikkor 55mm 2.8 less then $300
or macrotubes, 3 rings Kenko $140
but you really don't need a real macro, you just need a lens that can come in close
Like Rob said, Irfanview is a great program, it isfreeware, with all kinds of utilities and very easy to use.
Great for viewing, even RAWfiles of the latest cameras. It runs on all our computers next to Photoshop CS3
Rotor came off wearing it on day one and I spend hours getting the rotorscrew out of the movement.......
Got it fixed yesterday and it is still running pppfffwww
