Should I get a gen caseback for my franken?

I'm buying the conversion parts for the zenith movement. Here's what I'm planning to purchase: 4030-8000 Chronograph wheel 430-280 hour wheel 1.35mm 4030-335 center wheel with pinion will I need anything else to convert the movement?

gen rolex is almost as bad right now! I really dislike many of their new designs.

How much should I be prepared to pay for the dial and hands? My case is a 'U' serial. Nothing significant about that particular serial run, correct? Thanks! anybody else working on a franken right now? What parts are you gathering?

I recently purchased a Joshua 1675 swiss movement watch, but while wearing it yesterday I noticed it had stopped. The rotor appears to have come off the watch (I haven't opened it up- assumption based on what I am hearing). 1) is this common? 2) easy fix?

of course SEL is incorrect for a 1675. I was concerned about the width. The SEL is wider. I didn't know if width varies among vendors. or- if this is to be expected because of varied width among bracelet end pieces.

are the lugs slightly different from gen? I've got a Rolex Addict modded 1675 and the stock bracelet broke over the weekend. I'm planning to use a flip lock clasp version to replace the stock bracelet, but when I tried to fit a solid end link version I had in my parts bin- that bracelet wouldn't fit because the end pieces were too wide. So, does anybody know what bracelets will fit a Trusty 1675? Are all cartel bracelets the same width?

the same is true of the full vintage watch. It wasn't that many years back that you could buy a 1675 or 5513 for <$1000. In 2002 I remember buying a 1680 (box/papers/original receipt/service records) for $1200. Prices for vintage have gone through the roof in general.

forgot to add: drilled lugs, of course the case was worked by JJ and gen spring bars added.

another JJ special- it's currently in route to me! Perfect Clones provided the case, hands, confirmed ETA and bracelet. It's got a perfectly aged gen dial, gen crystal, gen insert, wso bezel assembly. JJ milled the crown to gen specs. I've got a gen crown, but no tube . . . so for now it's still the modded crown will have to work. In the next few months I'll be adding a gen bracelet. I used to have the gen on a jubilee, but I like the oyster better. Thoughts on model? Finally- the DW is stock and has been aged, but it does not perfectly center. Is there an overlay that will fix this problem? I can't say enough how great JJ (rolexaddict) is to work with . . . he was great at communication and is very fairly priced.

ha! that's why it's got the clone in it now! I'm still thinking about a gen movt . . .
