Welcome. Yeah let's see the collection!

I'll third that... this is a great place. Welcome.

'Some' replica spam?
You are lucky then ... I get at least a dozen EVERY SINGLE DAY from replica sellers. Obviously some people are stupid enough to buy from them ...
How do we get on their spam lists? I wonder...

Anytime I can help. If you want to read up on what other members have said about the new high beat Asian movement do a search there is plenty of info.
Make sure to post up some pics once she gets in.
-
An awsome pick up Fred! It does look new. Enjoy.
-
It's been said by The Zigmeister that the high beat (28k) Asian movement is reliable and pretty much rock solid. It's much improved over the low beat (21k) Asian movement. So I don't think you should worry too much about it if you do indeed opt for the high beat Asian movement.

Welcome Keith. Yes, take your time or you'll end up with info overload.

Looks like b16a2 beat me to the punch. Welcome.

Hmm... this is great stuff. The 187 has always been one of my favorite PAM's. I just never pulled the trigger because I heard that most of them had so many issues. Some that couldn't be fixed/modded away. If any of you guys have an info on a really good one please shoot me off a PM. Thanks.
-
The 187 is an awsome watch! If you're not too hung up on the flaws you should love it. Make sure to put up some pics when she arrives.
-
You could remove the movement and try pushing the x-tal out a bit more. I'm not sure if this will work but I've pushed the x-tal out some more on a Pam model before. Good luck.
-
Wow. Both awsome looking watches. Enjoy.

Welcome Jack and enjoy.

I hear ya dave. I too have been fortunate enough to have experienced the generocity of the members of this forum. I have to say I was surprised, in a good way of course, by how readily the members here are willing to go the extra mile to help another member. That's when I stopped visiting any other rep forums period.
If you need any proof of this, check out the thread about the HOT Hawaiian girls calendar I got from Lani!!!

A few of my friends have these and swear by them. Some say they're some of the best watches in their collection and they have some heavy collections. IMO, they seem like good values if you like their styling.
-
As always awsome Lani! I can't wait for the write up. Thanks.

It's a reasonable price. But if you feel aggressive, you might try and offer 3400.
A 113E w/out box & papers, only screwdriver, got sold @3495 USD some time ago. Quite a unique deal, but hey...
Hmmm... ok I'll try making him an offer. Thanks sssurfer!
-
Definitely a gen 113 and a gen 51G+. If you have pics of the casebacks I might tell something more based on the OP, BB and serial numbers.
Price looks fair, but I am not such an expert on prices, and especially it may depend on the series. Caseback pics needed.
You might also search the net for current 113 and 51G+ prices to compare.
Yep, I went back and checked and it's definitely a 51. The 113 is a I series and the 51 is a G. I don't want to post up the caseback pics as they have the serial numbers on them.
So sssurfer, do you think it's a reasonable price even w/o the box and papers? What price would you offer for the 113?
-
I think I'm gonna hold out for a 111. Thanks for all the input guys.
-
Well I too think they are both gens and I'm no expert either, but that dial and the CG's are just too damn good to be reps. There are also pics of the casebacks that tell the tale too that I didn't put up.
The thing that stops me though, the seller doesn't have the boxes nor the paperwork for both the watches. IMO, the price should be a bit lower since there are no boxes and paperwork.
-
Well I got those pics off of a sales thread.
I think the guy wanted $3700 USD for the 113 and something like $4700 USD for the one on the bottom. Are those reasonable prices for gens?
-
So are these two PAM's real or reps???
