Whatever discoloration it is in the bezel grooves on the V2's especially around the top area is a non issue for you thats great. Being that nobody has owned more gen/rep/franken SA's than me,it is something that stands out to me. All good.

Hey brudda,good to see you as always my friend. Yup,this version of RWG has alot of the 'big guns' there is no doubt,and alot of the members here have made these forums what they are today,RG,RWI etc....it all came from the first RWG (as for taking off for these forums).. and nobody has more posts then myself on an inter forum basis,pugwash being up there,not sure. I've done my thing,useless,usefull etc...but it seems to have been worth something,i have deleted tens of thousands of pm's in my day,more than my posts,which is around 30,000. Never think just a watch review post or how to change a bezel post makes a forum my friend,there are alot more to keeping things going and keeping interest,these forums can be soap opera's for men. These forums have all slowed down of late,lets keep em going. if your reading this stuff,learning about this hobby,put up a thread!...ask a question!. Post an answer!. Lets keep it going guys,it doesnt matter which forum skin you prefer,really.

Also calling a spade a spade though is that RG has been far more the active forum then this one has been since the end of 2007,i have followed both almost daily for years (my listed join date here is my second join date). Anyone that has followed both almost daily for years now knows this. I dont know why member numbers would be inflated and i do trust Thomas,no doubt,but he seems to be surprised by RG and in his own words,never paid much attention to RG. He has missed alot in that case,it has been the top forum for a long time. With all due respect to the gents here,that is a fact.

No comparison in the dials,couldnt do rep dials either. But those V2 bezels you live with,on your batons in the pic above the big bezel groove at 10 o'clock has that she-ite in it,the other grooves do as well....along with the big wings watch. Just wanted to point that out again B. as you said you dont see it. On the gen bezels,they are as clean as can be.That issue stands out more then the space gap in the batons imo.

I know the RG guys well,surprised to read this myself. One thing i do also know is that Thomas would not bother posting BS about this subject,i started my venture on these forums at the first RWG and while i have spent more time at RG since RWG went offline,i do have trust in certain folks here,good dudes and i know that. It is what it is i guess,i dont bother much anymore and frankly it seems alot around these forums dont either these days,but a spade should be a spade.Even a rep spade?...

Pretty close in color man,the rep is slightly darker. Just a tad,wasnt worth the mention.

The Skyland feels much smaller,no matter BS or not...as seen here...

Hello gents,been a while since i owned my last rep but hey,never say never i guess. SA BS rep just arrived,looks great must say,thanks as always to Joshua for shipping out quality. Thought i would toss up a few gen and rep pics for you guys,hope it has not been done already. Looking it over i'm happy with everything,yet another really good rep,datefont is good,crown stem is thick and solid. A watch that you would have to have side by side to a gen to get called out on,none are perfect but this one is really good. :cool: Dial and bezel look good,lume dots are great imo,AR is there with Breitling.... REP GEN The only thing i can pick at on the watch is that the bezel is not as tight as the gen,i think some on the forums have a fix for such issue though if it bugs you,do a search. Crown and pushers look good to me,as does the kinda brushed look to whatever they use to 'Blacksteel' this watch... REP GEN (outdoor lighting gives a diff. shade) Other side of the case,...looks good. REP GEN Breitlings dive strap is not my fave.,thats for sure but quality wise,rep and gen are the same. Wings logo sticks out more on the gen,only something us geeks would notice though. REP (blotchy look you get on the gen on certain angles as well) GEN The caseback also looks good to me,i dont have a good pic of the gen so what i have will have to do... REP GEN Tried to copy wristies here... REP GEN And along side some bling....:cool: REP GEN Anyway,you guys come to your conclusions. If Blacksteel is your thing,this rep gets my thumbs up.

I helped build this watch and was owed the first one out,which i turned down the other day as i'm going away for a month and i dont want this kind of thing anymore anyway,i hope it came out well,as some know,this was my baby....

Dave123. I declared 2008 the 'Year of the Breitling' in late 2007,it was as i said. Breitling was a nobody on these forums at the time,i did what i did,point made,and now its back to what it was. There is your answer,and it is the truth.

Yup chapter ring is gen. Nothing can touch my gen bling SA Ubi,no watch made.

Came out nice,Pro1 bracelet to go along with the smal wings version,a nice backup to my bling SA,a few pics. The bling brothers... Nothing like the SA,no watch like them.
