... apart from the linking of Counterfeiting to Terrorism is complete and utter fabrication. There is no link between Terrorism and counterfeit watches.
Charlie Boorman (the Chum) wore a Rolex Sub while Ewan wore his Panerai during the preparation phase of their trip. Once they set off, Ewan left his Panerai behind. He wore something cheaper for the trip while Charlie wore his Sub, I believe. I'll be rewatching it soon and I'll take notes.
That's the one I showed to Mrs Pugwash.
I too am a fan. Anyone that can create an entire genre (historical whodunnit) with one of his lesser works is to be taken notice of. I still think Foucault's Pendulum is one of the all-time greatest works of fiction.
Ah, while Rio and Roooooney are quite the ugly fugs, they return to godlike golden heroes once they put an England shirt on. As long as they don't stand too close to Beckham (whom I'm reliably informed is quite handsome), no-one can notice just how ugly and potato-like they are as the three lions appear to bestow some counter-fugly to their troll-like features.
My advice would be to buy a non-rep. You buy an instrument for its sound, not its brand. There are enough cheap quality instruments that will sound better than a fake Gibson as it is.
Surely you're not buying a fake guitar for the image as the moment you play it, people will wonder how bad you have to be to make a Gibson sound cheap.
Geo,
Yours looks like neither my IWC GST (Asian 7750@28k) nor my IWC 3717 (gen ETA wheels, Asian 7750@28k). Did you get the 21,600 one from Josh/Andrew?
Josh and Andrew don't stock the 28,800 version. You need to get it from Precious Time (UK), River or Eddie Lee.
Oh, and definitely get the 3717 and not the StE.
I thought the one they got in trouble over was "Often seen on stewardess's bedside tables".
Ah, here it is ...
