  1. You have both my sympathy and uderstanding as I know how you feel. Mrs Pugwash has moved to Scotland already and I'm following her in April. The time apart is tough, but manageable. You're not alone. Now, I was wondering if you could fit a relume in tomorr...ouch! Stop hitting me!
  2. You're probably right. I am a rank amateur at this stuff. I just make it up as I go along. Oh, and it's got AR already.
  3. I'm not going to say much, but instead I'm going to bombard you with about 20 photos. ...and I appear to have run out of battery, or something. Needless to say, it's back together in perfect nick, apart from the broken case holder thingy I found inside. I cleaned it and greased all the seals while I had it apart. Yes, toothpicks are important parts of my toolkit.
  4. Pfff. 1000? I've done that five times! Congrats, postmaster. The next thousand are a lot easier, you're on the homeward stretch now.
  5. The upside is that you can flip them here if they don't fit or you can buy second-hand ones to try. This is why I've bought a 187, a watch I believe is ugly, to try it on. The fact that the 187 has been whispering to me since I trued Usil's on is nothing to do with it, of course. Reps are cheaper to admit you made a mistake with. If you buy that Inge, thinking it's amazing in the photos and you get it home and realise it looks like the bezel fell off, you're only staring at a few hundred bucks, most of which, well 75%, you can recuperate in a fast sale. If you try that with a gen, you're looking at hundreds of dollars of depreciation. You can't rent a Gen for 25 bucks to see how it feels for a week.
  6. Mine, however was personal. Panerailord's topics are mostly looking for The Zigmeister or Finepics. Almost every thread ends in the person he's looking for berating him for stalking them. Here's a selection: Finepics finepics Does Anyone Know? Where I Can Found The Zigmeister The Zigmeister Where The Zigmeister Finepics Finepics PURETIME
  7. A working clip from YouTube:
  8. ... again. Also, in what way is this General Discussion?
  9. Friction. They don't have much.
  10. It's supposed to be windable, yes.
  11. ... and boy would they run! ps. I love how you made Neil out to be a Katoey Wrangler.
  12. I bet you wore all those to notch your gun too, you made-up, big-haired pump-wearer, you.
  13. He's not milking it: everyone around him is milking it. He made the other presenters swear to no longer mention the crash after last Sunday.
  14. Yeah, because anonymity in an illegal hobby is over-rated anyway.
  15. Someone should post this kind of thing to RT's polls.
  16. So do steel straps. I find loose in the cold morning and tight in the warm evening.
  17. It's not Kate Beckinsale.
  18. I have the same tweener issue. It's odd.
  19. Oh dear god, not again!
  20. Well, you can, by all means. However, if I were you, I'd use it to slide the spring bars out of their holes. Googling for "Watch strap removing" has several tutorials.
  21. Um ... a regular spike. Something long and sharp. A small but strong screwdriver may do, even. I even found a photo of what I use!
  22. Welcome to RWG.
  23. I use a simple spike. I find regular strap removers are not thin enough to get to the spring bar.
