I'll try to get all the watches into this thread today, tomorrow and so on. I will post the less-photographed watches first and then get on to the popular or well-known ones later. We'll start with my Breguet 5907. I bought this from a fellow member and replaced the red croc bracelet with a more traditional black calf one. It now looks much more classy. I think the only watch that could replace this one would be a Viagra Jones Next up, another watch I bought from another member. It's a fantasy Vacheron-Constantin and I thought it would be interesting to photograph, and it was. It doesn't get that much wrist-time these days and is possibly due to be sold on to someone who'll wear it. More to be added to this thread over the next few days ... The most photographed Sub on the forums? Possibly. This is my Rolex Submariner I bought from TTK as my first ever replica back in Feb 2006. Not a lot to say, apart from it's an Asian 21j Sub and it does the business. Old Faithful. Next up is my Rolex GMT Master II fantasy. This was from Silix and is the GMT Rolex should have made. Another member watch. This time, a Rolex Day-Date. It's Asian, fake gold and cheap. I keep this one around for comedy value. I do like it, really. Of my Omegas, I think I have the most respect for my Omega Moon Watch that was won in one of Precious Time's raffles. Leather, NATO, steel ... this watch changes personality very comfortably. My Omega Seamaster GMT was from Trusty Time. Another excellent value watch, an Asian 21j with a GMT movement. Finally, this was an Omega Seamaster Pro I sort of bought by mistake. My brother in Thailand was getting me a Daytona that turned oout to be out of stock, and I liked James Bond's Goldeneye watch and tried to buy it, but got this one out of sheer noobness. It's a perfectly acceptable watch, I just don't have any room in my wearing cycle for another steel diver. It'll probably be gifted to my other brother shortly. As you can see by the sheer lack of recent photos, this isn't that near the top of my favourites, and that's actually due to a lack of half-links. A blue NATO could bring this one back to life. And there we are. All my Omegas. My Panerai 111h is known as The Legend. I got this one from Silix Prime and it's the cheap Chinese version. Rock solid, waterproof and inspiring me to buy a bewildering array of straps, it's a regular on my wrist. The final piece in my replica collection is the piece de resistance, my IWC GST Chrono, model number 3707-003, the titanium one. This stunning watch was also won on one of Precious Time's raffles. This was the first grail watch I saw after getting involved with the replica scene, and the opportunity to own this one was a privilege. It's powered by a pristine Asian 7750@28, and was recently serviced by the legendary The Zigmeisterzumba himself. A full review of the GST is due very soon, so I'll not dwell on it too much. UPDATE An additional Rolex arrived before the two new Panerais. It's a Rolex Turn-O-Graph that I bought from a Friend-in-need. Asian 21j, Turd-Oh-God. More Panerais Recently, I won the Post-of-the-Month here on RWG. The prize was an incredible Panerai 196 Daylight from Silix-Prime which was way out of my league. It's got a genuine ETA Valjoux7753, Anti-Reflective coating, decent markers and awesome presence. Seeing as Silix was covering the delivery of the 196, and I had a 40€ credit note from them dating back to my GMT's second hand falling off, I decided to clear off all the accounts and spend it there and then. The Panerai 183 Black Seal was one of the two original choices, along with the 111h pictured above, so I added it to the order, paid the extra and received this watch: Chrono Madness There was a group buy recently organised for the IWC Portuguese Chrono from Silix Prime, and this watch was an absolute must-have. I ordered it in standard configuration, but later got the black moocroc to make it perfect. After this, I saw the Breitling Navitimer sold by Ruby and, after a lot of down-time, I finally got it on my wrist on a Bob For Breitling strap. Another IWC On my long list of must-haves, there was always the IWC Aquatimer 2000m and I recently got one off Precious Time. For all its faults, it's a gorgeous watch and is earning serious wrist time. ... I hope I get to update this post soon when the next PugWatch arrives. What have we missed? I picked up this Glash

Sure it is, but what does anyone have to gain? I'm not trying to paint a picture of us all as selfish egoists, but we have absolutely nothing invested personally in tracking down an errant dealer. Sure, as a group, we'll pull the stops out, even down to a whip-around to cover a failed investment for a bunch of people, but when it comes down to it, we have absolutely nothing to gain getting one bloke his $500 back. Sure, I'd love to help, but let's be honest, it's a waste of effort. I'd rather spend my energy on another pictorial, or teaching some n00b about Subs.

It's remarkably straight-forward. A dealer being ripped off jeopardises all of us. All our future purchases are in peril. For better or for worse, it's a selfish and natural reaction. A customer being ripped off, there's really not a lot we can do, apart from ban that dealer, as has been done with Sichuan, Lucky, etc. This is a case of a dealer just disappearing. No amount of outrage will make him turn up. Other cases have been customer errors masquerading as dealers ripping people off, so it's a little difficult to get outraged at a dealer when it's not their fault. Angus looks like he's gone, and no amount of outrage will make him return.

I am neither French nor American, thankfully. Look at the flag on the left - I'm one of the few people to not lie about where I'm from or where I live as a poor attempt at humour. -
Contrary to the usual answer they'll be the same distance, I'm going to have to go with the train from London will be closer as meeting is when the fronts touch the same plane and the back-end of the London train will be closer.

Yeah, you're guaranteed loads of discussion on all things watch and non-watch in pleasant company. Opinions are rife as is camaraderie. Indeed, as the French would just say "Ta mere!" -

Yeah, preferably Egyptian. Silk sheets are like flashy tooled-up cars with decals all over them. Yes, they attract women, but women of a certain class. Sometimes, this is precisely the class you want, admittedly.

Refreshing the page gets past these problems, but it seems like the CSS is being blocked. -

I don't get it. Dealers today require payment in full, up front. The problem is that Paypal can allow you to take you money back. If French is so superior, why use 'parking', 'weekend', 'shampooing' from English, or any of the millions of borrowed Arab words. Don't even get me started on Verlan, a language designed to make French incomprehensible. French is a language that has been frozen in time, which means it integrates modern terms so appallingly and the rich multi-cultured French population has to shoe-horn phrases from other languages wholesale. The Académie française, set up by Cardinal Richelieu, is there to guide and control the evolution of the language. It does so badly. "J'vais kiffer mon oinj et niquer ma meuf, pijé?" That's the language of Moliere today. Oh, excuse my French. -

I get it. The IWC GST Chrono is too close to the genuine for you. I can see that.

Gen Sub Lv With Incorrect Font Spacing(?)...confusing...
Pugwash replied to Alextor's topic in Name & Shame
Not so fast. I was visiting a certain Swiss site and found this ... -
Oh, ok. To get to the button, you may have to remove the dial. So, what you do is remove the rotor on the back and then it has no way of charging up.

replicacollector.com replica-watch.info rwg.cc And not in that order. In fact, it's sad. I have the second-highest post count here and the highest on RWI. Can you tell Mrs Pugwash is out of the country for a few weeks?

As with watches, I'm willing to forgive certain lower quality aspects for the right price. Anything under $20 and all bets are off, as long as it looks good from a distance and holds the watch to my wrist.
