Its been done before but i will play again, left for me, my wife wears here watch also in the left but on lager watches that i have made for her she prefers the crown also to be on the left, i ignore this request and put it on the right so that i can wear them also, just like on this one.

very nice, did you start with a 117 case or a 581? one of the bits that has always buged me on my 0581 case is that is is a bit to large compared with the bezel, i belive the 117 was a touch smaller, your looks about the same as mine?

As you are proberbly reading the IWC area right now you will have found that the IWC Porto Chrono is one of the great understated watches out there, but due to a little bit of bad design the reps oftern turn into paper weights, there is however a solution to the problem, and for that you will have to search for Graphite lubrication. But is ask me nicely i may just let my perfectly working porto go to a good home for the right price !

Me too, when I read the title that was what filled my mind, the sence of comumity and freindship, the willingness of people to help others. yes there have been memorable watches that we have lusted and waited for, such as the Ap ROO, skyland and blacksteel, non of which i have bought! (bigger things to do woith my cash right now) The big thing i have found is the Community its self!

All the people i work with know i wear and collect reps so even when i am wearing a gen they assume it is a rep, wors feeling is when i am waering something i have made my self like my observer/pilot watch and they still think it is a rep, ok thye are half right as most pilots watches based on a couple of WW2 designs but they are not reps like we collect here.

I have a kenberg suit and it is the nice suit i have ever had, Ok so i have had a few cheep suits in my time but the kenberg suits are top notch!

Welcome, Homer can normaly supply sterile subs, i have a couple of dials at home but they need the feet repositioning to fit ETA and the center hole enlarging.

That is a bummer, nice new watchand you cant wear it, when it is a rep you half expect a fault but on a gen IWC, that realy is shit. But you have great taste!

Welcome, you have found the right place, unfortunatly it is not as easy as you may think, here you will be able to learn about what you want and how you would like to get it, there are many good copys of rolex but it is up to you how nuch you want to spend and from who you would like to recieve it, the road can be long but rewarding, I sugest a few days or weeks reading to find out and then you may decide you never wanted a rolex in the first place but would prefere an IWC or chopard.
