you need to support the pinion from the back of the movement while you push the hand on from the front, you may need a special movement holder or make one
I would take the bottom one in your pick if I had a choice
But I am not much of a gmt expert but I do remember them a few years ago and they were very expensive
I have both the movements you show above for sale and even a hibrid, 6497-1 converted to 6497-2 with all swiss parts, but i would still say the asian is just as good in the short term particualy if it is a seagull 21.600 version, which i woiuld say is every bit as good as the swiss one
too much to choose from, best is to lock your wallet away for a month and spend that time reading and learning and then your cash will be well spent
Reps are getting more expencive but the quality of the components it improving more than the price is increasing but we still have to live with the quality control issues but if you buy well you have less issues
You would then be looking at a DW with 7750, with or with out the rotor removed, spin master used to sell modded ones with all the little fixes done but then you are looking at the $600 plus mark, i think the DW standard ones if you can find one were about $400,
ask your self how oftern are you actualy going to time some thing into the hours?????
They were VERY well made apart from the crown fouling the bezel when tightend down, but apart from that, super lume, thick sapphire, and the most positive bezel click i have ever felt
