Ditto the only movement that will replace the rep one is a gen one, and if yoz do that you may as well get a dial and hands then you may as well look for a gen, your question about TGs and 3717 well they use 7750 movements that we can get at almost sensible prices, but a gen inhouse PB movement and sensible prices just dont go toghter!

  11. I think the main tool to this is time and education but there is great reasearch tool by a Dr Ranft called the pink pages as I am on my phone so I can't paste a link but google is your friend as much as time spent reading the forums
  12. I think the weak points are the threads in the case, if it was the screw that stripped it would not bother me you can get screws, but when the case strips you are fcuked
  13. I see nothing different on the hack and date set than normal eta, but what they have donr is get the crown lock working, and for one i quite like that watch, week point is the 4 screws holdong the case back on, if one of those strips then you can say good buy to any water resistancy

  18. Why would a plexy glass sub not be water resistant and my 38 year old one still looks like new (and it does get worn )
