  1. No prob my friend, happy to help - I'm just admiring your fine work on my pams i got back today - i'll be posting group photos tonight
  2. and there are some cool new videos under "made by breitling" at least i hadn't seem them before http://www.breitling.com/en/
  3. The forum won't implode we'll be here for a long time unless the federalies shut us down Every once and a while we get the occassional wound up or cooky nutty dude. Seems its been a busy month for loonies (I am including george) Fact is this is 2006 has been the best year ever in rep collecting. We have a great "system" here with unbelievable acess to product. Its time to sit back relax and start figuring out what things we aren't going to live up to in 2007. And as neil says "its just a damn watch "
  4. You see tragedy I see business opportunity This is why by the way I tell my wife I can't wait on reps I must have them now now now. You never know when that old iron curtain nuke comes back. Or or or the big asteroid heading for us as we speak
  5. The one from this year or the one in 1999 that I had 50 yrd line 30th row seats for in the swamp. It aint easy being a ucf die hard football fan.
  6. I'm definatly feeling ya on the driving. My trip in Feb to orlando has been postponed, but i always get up there a few times a year. If nothing else, i will be there in Sept for UCF's home opener against Texas in the new stadium anyway , i'll definatly let you know when i'm in the area
  7. 1, don't forget these guys sell to people that aren't us and who have clue what an ETA is - but "Swiss" is universal language in fakes - walk down canal street and ask for swiss - you will get sad looks ask for ETA? they will tell you there is no MSG in teh food anyway 2. Its not quite the same thing, Gen ETA movement @300 bucks - your out 300 bucks, selling a 200 PO as a 2000 your out 1700 Difference between a misdemeanor and a felony We should be getting what they advertise- but i concede that i have to learn their language. its the black market - you have to know the lingo if you got a crappy seagull movement, i say again as i said above - i would ask for a replacement and if i didn't get one i'd raise wholly [censored] - even if it was 1 yr later. Also realize, these guys don't open up every watch, even if they are not drop shipping. It could be an honest mistake. If its knowing, then the dealer deserves what they get!!!
  8. He loves it - i love my LV been wearing it alot. I was proud of that shot - i don't even have the function to do that with the aperture, i'm going to experiment with more things like that in my next shots Thanks again hope your feeling better
  9. Mass Suicide and Rioting in the Streets Just in case, i'll start whipping up some kool aid mix this is much more of a crystalcranium topic
  10. never say never - http://perfect-clones.com/pp10100-white-go...ezel-p-391.html yeah, the weight would be off, but, i still think its stylin
  11. NO worries i had the 50k volt anti-bum-inator installed last month - just one press of the button and - well, i had it recently "regulated" using CNN's rick sanchez - enjoy the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg66d7ff2ME
  12. cool, thanks for the opinions, i understand where you all are coming from, it would be the smallest watch in my collection er maybe the same size as my JLC. I have noticed i am really missing a more formal, dressy piece so i have wandered that way. Again appreciate the thoughts, i'm going to take these into acct in looking for my submissionf or the 10k Jay custom project
  13. TVT, if i bought a swiss ETA watch and got the crappy segull copy movement, i'd be [censored] and demand my money back. If i bought a swiss eta watch and got a eta copy that worked just as good as an eta, or was an eta but with some dirt in it, i wouldn't be [censored]. does that make sense?
  14. Ok, i take back the government regulatory comment and put that in the we don't know column But here is the problem with that - Swiss law only is valid in switzerland. So if i make watches in denmark that say swiss made - then switzerland as far as i can figure has no jurisdiction to stop it. I just can't see the government of switzerland making a copywrite claim over the words swiss made, if there were some international copywrite law, which i don't believe there is. now if i wanted to sell them in switzerland, then they might have jurisdiction.
  15. ETA sells movment kits to other watch suppliers - for instance one of the ulysse nardin has a movement based on a 2892 a2 that they buy as a kit and then tweek a little and put together. It is a genuine ETA movement, purchased from them, put together by UN. i don't know the location the fact that its "swiss made" is just an indication of quality even in the gen world. If i import a bunch of mexican migrant farm workers to geneve and have them put together watches - its swiss made. Its really a rediculous indication of quality. I mean if the Gov't of switzerland regulated (no pun intended) watch buillding then there would be an objective standard that "swiss made" would have to follow. just like "made in america" if it really is, you can be sure they didn't use 11 yr olds and pay them 3 cents an hour. ITS ALL A BUNCH OF MARKETING BS - and we are the ones that have bought into it - ohh, swiss made, must be fantastic what if my workbench was made of cheese? would it be swiss made then?
  16. mind you thats coming from someone who does exactly that for a living
  17. ok - i like pugwash, i'm happy he is going to get his watch but- relating to how "elections" work - its supposed to be "the best idea" not "who worked the hardest" or "who hired the right lobbyist" or who created a dirty negative campaign agaisnt the others in order to supress opponent votes. (i'm talking about real elections not the watch ones) When phrased the right way, "who worked the hardest" will cause 90% of the people asked that will say - thats the major problem with democracy today - all special interest groups who "outwork" average everyday people and get their way. - this is not a comment on the watch vote- its totally a comment on the comment and its relationship to "real" elections as commented on previously and apparently well understood by Miss Understood
  18. I think the difference here is - that the IWC aquatimer would be a real kick ass selection if we didn't already have a bunch of other IWC's that are very similiar in design already out there i don't nessecarily need something different i.e. not very popular. As much as i want something different i.e. not already available
  19. Yeah, its not to far off the turnpike, although there is no exit on Broward Blvd - you have to get off at sunrise or 595 probably easier to go 595 west to university then head north to Broward Blvd. - its tucked away in a little strip shopping area outside of a mall. Bal Harbor is definatly the top high end shopping in South Florida. I haven't been there, but i have lots of friends who go regularly. If your into the High end stuff You may want to swing by Sawgrass Mills Mall - its a huge outlet mall and they have recently add a "high end" wing of stores including Barneys New York Outlet Burberry Factory Outlet Coach Factory Coco's Day Spa & Salon Cole Haan Crate and Barrel Outlet David Yurman Elie Tahari Outlet Escada Company Store Fitelle Féraud/Rösch Grand Lux Cafe Hugo Boss Factory Store Kate Spade Le Creuset Malo Max Mara Outlet Neiman Marcus Last Call Clearance Center Nordstrom Rack Nurielle Paul Masion De Qualité Polo Ralph Lauren Children's Factory Store Salvatore Ferragamo Company Store Sixty Outlet St. John Company Store Stuart Weitzman Theory Valentino Vilebrequin
  20. NO - here is the small world, my office was (before it burned down) across the street from Rioi Vista on 7th st. and my house is near pine island FYI - Rio Vista and Victoria Park are the Shee Shee places to be now 2 bedroom 1500 sq foot house will cost you 500,000
  21. exactly the type of feedback i'm looking for Thanks-
  22. there are typically a selection of about 7 to 15 PAMs at http://www.levinsonjewelers.com/ levinsons jewlers around the corner from my house in plantation. near the sawgrass mall. Let me know if you will be there, i'll pop over
  23. with all due respect my friend your buying a Fake Freaking Watch - if you don't see the relevance and importance of this distinction, than I have a LOT of stuff I would like to sell to YOU. i'm not sure who [censored] in your cornflakes this morning, but you need to relax - do you like the watch? does it work well? do you enjoy it:) are you paying an amount appropriate to your enjoyment? then just relax and enjoy it If your not happy with the price or level of enjoyment then reps aren't for you and you should stick to gens. Our dealers are trustworthy - but face reality, your buying an illegal / fake product - you can't hold them to the same standard as your local rolex dealership
