  1. Great detailed review!
  2. If he's in the EU, im sure someone would do it for him for minimal cost, same if he's in the US. Its not a hard job for any semi skilled watchsmith, of which we have many right here.
  3. Im sure if you email Andrew, he will source and send you a new date wheel. No point sending the whole watch back if you want it changed
  4. ...please after the 11th Feb
  5. Get a hirsch with deployant, same as the gen 213 strap I got mine from Strapmaster V!
  6. Try a Breitling ladies Cockpit from andrew or joshua Its a nice ladies watch, and its a quartz like the gen.
  7. I have to defend INDYCLMBR here. I actually bought his 2893 PAM 063 from him, and i bought the DW from you instead of him. I can't even imagine how frustrating this whole project must have been, and its a shame that the result is alot of wasted time and money
  8. Not if you go with the Swiss 7750 as he first said
  9. I actually put a screwdriver RIGHT THROUGH MY THUMB AND OUT THE OTHER SIDE once while adjusting a band.
  10. I've got nothing against Paul, but Andrew would be my choice for sure
  11. You wont be dissapointed with the watch once it arrives, trust me! I've bought 3 Breitling straps from selfridges, all from a guy called Tim, he's one of the supervisors. First time he served me, i was wearing my PAM 212 on a hirsch strap, and we spoke about watches for a while. He's a nice guy, and will sort you out, no problem. He's never asked me for a serial number before, so you should be fine.
  12. Guys come on, i know alot of work has gone into this, and its only right that everyone saying 'Yeah, i'll take 1-2 definately 100%' actually follows through. I've paid for one for my 2893 GMT, and i think after the LONG journey with these DW's, it only fair to purchase them now they are ready.
  13. Thanks guys. I purchased the strap from Selfridges, it cost me £80, a bit expensive for a piece of leather, but IMO it really sets the watch off well. To paint the hands i used black acrylic paint. I just sprayed a bit out of the can and applied it witha really fine paintbrush (and a screwdriver believe it or not!) I was actually bricking it a bit, because i thought i'd mess it up, but im pleased with the final results now.
  14. Well i took some pics yesterday of a gen aquaracer movt to compare to the movt in Andrew's Carrera The pictures will tell you that this is the closest TAG rep so far. By the way, the gen also has the 'stripes' going down the movt, but my camera phone is too crap to focus on anything closer than 2 miles away
  15. Its been on trusty's site for a while now also
  16. Well, i have broken my modding virginity! I painted the subdial hands on my Navitimer Fighters edition black, to go with the gen. I also threw on a Gen breitling 22mm strap Let me know how it looks OK, so its not exactly anywhere near the level of most of the people on this board, but hey, you gotta start somewhere right!?
  17. No i am.........
  18. Im sure if you ask the dealers and provide a pic they'll be able to get the exact same thing for you
  19. The master teaches his new student.............
  20. Anytime after the 11th Feb and i'm in. How about the 16th?
  21. i am away from London between 19th Jan - 11th Feb Anytime before or after that is fine with me.
  22. My god, it actually sold for £1100!
  23. Only the Roadster Chrono is near 44mm in size. The 'normal' roadster is the same size as what the dealers offer
