Hi mate The hand probably slipped during shipping, and it needs to be reset to the 12 o'clock position manually. Its an easy fix, but only if you know how to remove the movement from the case.

A very nice watch, and if repped properly i WOULD buy one. However........... The gen is made out of 18k white gold. No rep is going to be made out of solid 18k white gold. Also, as pointed out by Flavor Flav, the watch has a display back, and the movt would look nowhere near what the gen movt looks like unfortunately

The eBay seller knows thats the AP is a rep Why else would all head-on shots of the watchshow the 9 o'clock subdial in the 'reset' position? EVERY SINGLE HEAD ON SHOT!? YET THE CHRONO SECOND HAND IS RUNNING! On the side profile shots, you can see the 9 o'clock subdial has moved, so the watch is obviously running. The auction details are vague for a reason, so that any comebacks can be answered with "well we didn't know much about this piece in the first place" Its a shame, someone WILL get taken to the cleaners with this one, and will probably not realise until they try and get it serviced in 3 years. Thankfully, we can conclude that it is NOTHING to do with George

$1000 is way way WAY too much to pay for any rolex sub/datejust rep (unless the gold part is made using SOLID gold, and even then its 2x more than what you shold be paying) Idealwatches caters for the type of buyer who doesnt know that these exact watches are available for $200. We are lucky here in that we have access to alot of information, and are better informed when it comes to replica watches than most people, and so to us $1000 for any datejust or submariner is considered a Ripoff. I would be willing to wager that the exact (if not better) watches you paid so much for, are readily available from Andrew/Joshua/EL/Prescious Time/any other board dealer for 1/4 of the price. I too found this board after navigating my way past idealwatches/globalreplica/replicacenter, so you're not alone, and many people here have done the same as you. If you spend a bit of time here, you will see that there is NO difference in the reps you paid $1000 for, and the reps we pay $-300 for. BTW There is no such thing as a 'swiss' rep. Its a term coined by the likes of replicacenter to sell ETA based reps for 4 times as much as they should.

Rep watches are, at this stage, not able to withstand being imersed in anything deeper than a shallow puddle, so i think a fully functioning SOS transmitter is a little way off still............

Exactly my thoughts 100% reps have existed before, and they do still. Who remembers Rivers PAM 127 with an original panerai movt for $3000? That could EASILY have been bought by someone and sold as a gen. A DW 6263/6265 with a VJ727 inside (cost of case + cost of movt and other gen parts <$3-4K for a watch that could potentially be sold for upwards of $15K) Tommyhighways 18k white gold Rolex with a rolex 3135 movt inside? Hell, even buy a TAG link chrono, and spend $315 for a Valjoux 7750 with a TAG rotor from ofrei and you have another 100% rep for $600. There is no amount of checking, short of tracing back the serial numbers, that would have give these pieces away as reps. Its completely possible to make a 100% sub, but how many fake subs are sold as real already? and thats with all the flaws! What would it be like if there were no visible flaws!? There may already be some 100% sub reps out there, with rolex movts inside, but if these were readily available, things would go [censored] up quite quickly for rolex! and alot of people who think they are buying a genuine sub! Hell, these manufacturers can make a TOURBILLON FOR LESS THAN $1K! Don't you think they can make a submariner case where the rehault is deep, the cyclops is corrct and the endlinks dont look like they were made from Playdough!? I'd love for every rep to be a 1:1, but we should be careful what we wish for.........
