The minute markers are most correct on the hand wind movement. They should radiate outward away from the dial. Both automatic movements are incorrect as their minute markers radiate inwards towards the dial. Also the hand wind is missing "Reg. T.M." on the crown guard front.

I have to agree with this idea for payment. Trusted buyers can use the pp method, (or any other easy payment service). New buyers that do not yet have the trust level should use some other method of funding, (e-gold, WU, etc.)

I use Norton Password Manager. Everytime I click, the Password Manager pops up and asks me if it should fill in the missing password. Of course there is no password box to fill in anyplace, except when you log in. Can you figure that one out? Annoying constantly popping up.

You got it right. Tubes in both leather strap ends. Screws then through the lugs and tube.

Yes, quite odd since this is a total fantasy watch. Albiet a very good looking fantasy watch. This obviously has the 250th Anniversary logo. Certainly was not available until 2005

What really bothers me on the 7753 is that the minute markers radiate inward which is not correct. On the 7750 the minute markers are correct and radiate outwards. Small but annoying issue for me. I am waiting for the next improved model. Then I will make my purchase.

I use silicon spray. Toss the bracelet in a plastic baggy and spray her down. Let it sit overnight, occasionally turning the bag to distribute lubricant around. Next day wipe it off with paper towel. Washing will just remove the lubricant you put on. Next step - complete the polishing. Some guys use oil; motor, penetrating, WD-40, etc. I prefer the silicon based lubricants myself.

That is exactly what this method has been good for. It may now be stuck solidly into the case, especially if repeatedly forced without good lubrication. Your in luck tho with the rubber strap; stand the watch up on end with the bad side facing down with a binder clamp or some such. Soak just that screw / lug side overnight in silicon spray and try the above routine. I improvise and use a plastic baggy in the mouth of a coffee cup. Not glamorous but works. You may yet still be lucky and still get it out with this technique. Works for me. Good luck.

Soak the whole screw overnight in silicon spray. Then work the screw back in, then out, sometimes takes several passes back and forth. Of course throw away that screw and use a brand new one with reassembly. This always works for me.

The bar in the sleeve of course will not slide out completely. It will only slide to the point it protrudes slightly from the other side, enough to feel with the finger. It has then cleared enough on the other side to gently pry the sleeve out. Keep on trying.

It is a bar that slides from side to side inside a sleeve. Push on one side and it slides out the other side, and vice-versa. Soak it overnight in a plastic baggy after liberally spraying it with silicon spray. It takes quite a bit of force to move the bar. Careful not to skive off and scratch the clasp. The bar will go all the way into the sleeve flush with the end. You will then still need to pry the bar out even once it has been released.

The moral of this story: When the new, improved Asian 7750 movement has problems, it is best to replace the entire movement rather that attempting what will most likely turn out to be a time consuming and more costly repair. .....I learned this from DaytonaT.

The very first step is to lubricate the spring bar well with silicon spray. These are usually sticky and difficult to move when new. A quality spring bar tool is quite useful here also. http://www.ofrei.com/page252.html#3102 People often scratch up the sides of the deployants trying to force the spring bars out. This is but one of the reasons I am not a fan of trying to get non-deployant straps in a deployant clasp. Good luck.

No argument from me there, I agree whole heartedly with you jkerouac. The bracelet itself is a work of art by VC, and well duplicated in the rep. I am a huge VC fan and VC collector as you know. I am quite disappointed in the bracelet - case attachment. Nothing at all like the authentic Overseas. Very shallow screw holes to hold the bracelet in place. Easily striped out. Needs oversize screws. Yes, Loctite required. Loctite 221 is my favorite. (Watchmaker's Loctite). Bracelet overall looks very good, but this connection and the clasp are weak. I am also frustrated that cosmetically the clasp cover is totally incorrect as is the clasp. This is where I think the bracelet rates a "crummy" rating, at least from me. Esthetics A- Construt C- Many of todays other VC reps are very good, and very accurate. Perhaps I just expect too much from the first generation of this rep. I am glad to hear yours is wearing well. VC are way cool !!!

Beautiful watch. Crummy bracelet. In this last edition the screws that hold the bracelet to the back of the case like to come out. Also, the clasp cover has a bad habit of falling off. Some have reported the clasp itself breaking. As Thomasng says, you are one of many.
