  1. Now that we are all done with our New Year celebration. A reminder to all of another New Year yet to come. February 18 starts the Chinese New Year. Get them orders in early to your dealers guys. No business for two whole weeks. Entire country shuts down. Two weeks of party time. The year of the pig! I love them smoked pork ribs !!! ....and a good beer to go with them.
  2. Reflection of the ceiling off a spherical caseback. Most all pictures have this to some degree.
  3. I have an EL gold sub with black face about 2+years old. Gold is still as perfect as the day I bought it. I do not recommend our gold plated watches for daily wear tho.
  4. Fine for audio only, I was trying to view video version. edit: my mistake, I assumed since available for Ipud download there would be video version, obviously not.
  5. Any way to view this thru Windows Media Player or something simple for us guys without Ipuds?
  6. I have been trying to do this exact same feat for several months now. Bought my 90 when they were very first released - with the wrong display caseback. Great watch all around except for the backside. Unable to source the correct raised caseback anywhere. Many of my Pam's have flat casebacks, but not this one. I have tried to exchange solid backs from my othe Pam's to this one - didn't work. If you can source a solid raised caseback let us all know.
  7. To date in this forum, and other similiar forums, we have more dealers selling more watches in more open fashion than any prior year that I have been collecting. This sport just continues to escalate.
  8. Don't worry about Christmas. It's the Chinese New Year that closes up everything for a week or two. Included is no shipping!
  9. As mentioned make sure both sides of the clasp are open when you put it over the hand. If still too small then upgrade from 115/75mm deployant strap to 125/85 strap, (the size I use for my 8.25 inch wrist).
  10. I have a few Asian automatic Pam's. Bought them only because I could not get the same model with ETA movement, (which is always preferable in my opinion). To my delight they have been reliable including the power reserve models. I recommend them as resonable investments, probably not as durable at the ETA but still good none the less.
  11. Best I have found. http://www.acetimer.com/oakwoodfinish.htm
  12. 8.25 inch wrist Any watch I buy with 115/75 leather band automatically requires 125/85 upgrade.
  13. I use Dremel, felt wheel, green rouge. Fast, quick and easy.
  14. Interested - just let me know when the mood strikes! Thanks, JJ
  15. I just don't understand why they stopped making this model! The demand seems quite strong for the product judging from this forum. I would stand in line for one Seawolf titanium - if I could just find the line.
  16. I would use GS Hypo Cement on bezel inserts anytime. Its great not only for tight fit bezels, but super for sloppy loose bezels also. Bridges those gaps and really holds well. Available at any good hobby store.
  17. I have a few Asian power reserve models, VC, Pam, etc. Have all been reliable. As the watch is wound, either by crown or motion, the indicator goes up telling you it has the relative indicated reserve power.
  18. VC Patrimony Power Reserve Totally incorrect color scheme. Never produced in black.
  19. .....and so many of these designer bags are just plain butt-ugly looking to me! And those ugly pointy shoes.
  20. Just purchased my solid 001 case back from River last week. Awaiting this new arrival anxiously. Supose to be an exact fit to 111 case. I also have the original first generation 111, also from River. Making the 111 to 001 conversion, couldn't handle the bogus looking movement anymore.
  21. In the USA I buy it cheap at my local Hobby Lobby store. It is a very common glue for arts / craft bead workers.
  22. Sead Weller - now that's funny. Good one Pugwash.
  23. Would you tell me your wrist size? I love this watch and am ready to purchase one. However with an 8.25 inch wrist, I suspect additional titanium links would be hard find.
  24. Best option for me is to wait for David son's next improved version. His products just keep getting better all the time, (unfortunately his prices keep going up also). I am now not as impatient to make these immediate purchases as I was a few years ago. Though I still profusely salivate after getting just a glimpse of a dealers new offerings. Always seems if I wait just a little bit longer a much better version is soon released. My old habit of multiple purchases just to upgrade to a slightly better rep is no longer fun. Sums up JJ's Watch Philosophy 101.
