I will eat my short and my socks if they do and I think it is stunning very true to what Panerai stands for you either love it or hate it no middlegound there
I suppose that it has the same modified movement than the Portugieser Chrono with the running seconds at 6? If so have the makers looked into the issues that the Porto had?
Angus - great watch I have been waiting for this one good thing I have a decent job
I don't know what issues people have with the Asian 7750 - as long as the layout is unchanged 12,9,6 it can be as reliable and lasting as the Swiss movement - the issues arise once the layout is changed.
keep em coming
thanks, i orginally wanted to buy the gen Panerai Nubuk Gator, but for over $300 I decided to go with this one....
thanks - one of my favorites
now that I have the Palp crown that's also next on my list
thought I share some pics of the coolest strap ever - from Steve in Torronto (Molina straps) bought over Paneristi - enjoy
I gave my D-SLR to a friend for vacation in South Africa so the pictures are all the taken with my old Canon S400 Powershot
Welcome Angus to the dealer section of RWG
I will have to post a couple of reviews of the watches that I recently bought from you...
Folks: I can highly recommend Angus as a top notch dealer
great effort Chieftang
I guess the difficulty would be to determine who send you what crystals - one way of doing this would be to measure the crystals (thickness and diameter) and not to worry about who send you what crystal...assuming that let's say all IWC Ingenieur crystals are the same.
I just counted and would need AR coating on 15 crystals, which I would do all at once if we get enough interested to do over 50
thanks
I use a Canon 20D and a Canon 60mm Macro lens with a Polarizing filter - Canon's Rebel XT uses the same electronics and is avaiable for way under $1000 the results would be the same than on my 20D.
The below picture was taken during day light in a cheapo $35 light tent with no editing in Photoshop except resizing and unsharp masking - I also don't consider myself a skilled photographer, more like a trial and error one....
never again...mine worked for 3 1/2 months and than stopped intermittently and I also just had 2 of my IWC Portos at The Zigmeister and one of them has the small seconds at 6 frozen now to make it work at all. My future mantra: NO HIGHLY MODIFIED MOVEMENTS!!!
I checked all the pictures available on Joshua's and Andrew's sites and it really looks lke the hands are greyish rather than pulished ss/chrome...it doesn't look like it is the way the photo was taken
Joshua: could you please clarify?
thanks
I would be willing to step in and take whatever amount is neccesary on top of the currently made commitments by members - I am convinced I can sell the ones I don't need on Ebay - I could also provide some upfront financing? How about it?
This project needs to happen and thanks Mr.Smith and Finepics to take this on
