  1. well I just received the one with the golden hands and I now have to agree with you entirely, this was not obvious with the Laureus and Panda that I already have. The subdials are very different from the rest of the dial whereas the original uses the same texture for the subdials - I wish I would have stayed away from the golden hand version, but I still like the Panda, Domino and Laureus ;-)
  2. my biggest problem with it would be the color of the bezel ring, it has been white on all the Navitimer reps I have seen, it is supposed to be silverish and certainly a better date wheel would help
  3. you're da man you can put me down for 2 if it works out you should send River a PM or email, could very well be that he sold me his first sample - man am I lucky cash in my pocket ... what cash
  4. which gen do you have? Have you shared any pics here? thanks
  5. I don't really know anything about Rolexes but those look very nice ;-)
  6. bumpitty bump..... everybody pay yet?
  7. I assume your comments are based on photo observations rather than comparing the genuine to the replica? I can spot a Panerai or Rolex fake easier than the current Panda and Domino IWC's the one with the gold markers and the one with blue markers are a different story. Furthermore I don't think that anybody is saying the dial is dead on - no replica can claim that, not even the best PAM 111's and in particular not any of the Rolexes out there. I guess all that is being said here is that the dial is pretty accurate and that it would be hard to spot as a replica - you can even take it off your wrist which I certainly wouldn't recommend for most of the Panerai reps out there.
  8. ...and that our judgement is largely based on assumption rather than facts; I bought a gen PAM025 and I agree with Finepics that the lever is not pressing hard against the crown. I wouldn't describe the lever as loose and wobbly, but definetly not as tight as I expected it to be.
  9. sweet I don't own any AP's yet but your pictures tempt me to get one soon.....
  10. I am with you this great forum benefits from informative threats - what's informative about this one?
  11. also on my wishlist - have two already but wouldn't mind owning them all ;-)
  12. madness and crazyness, or should I say passion about our hobby is what unites us
  13. remember this is a very rare watch only 500 produced, so the chances of even AD's or Paneristi for that matter being able to tell the difference are very low - that's not say that it doesn't bug me a little
  14. man you are persisitent, that's great keep us posted - thanks
  15. well the font is different, but the positioning is correct and yes it is the old 7750 - if it breaks down I will put a Swiss 7750 in
  16. please PM River for pricing
  17. and thanks m8
  18. no unfortunately not
  19. thanks m8, appreciate that you have tried ;-)
  20. bump - any news or has this been abandoned?
  21. nice very creative shot....
  22. no rush I was just curious since I am getting the same watch from Jay
  23. since I just receieved the 4th watch from River within the last week or so I have to say that he is the best inspects all watches before packaging best packaging - taped to the insight of a cardboard box and wrapped in bubble wrap the watches from him all ran within or close to COSC - none from the other dealers did - maybe just luck? great communication can't say what he does when you have problems - never had any fastest shipment ever - mostly between 2 and 3 days from TW to California great incredible competitive prices - paid only $19 more for the IWC than in recent group buy no attitude I have no reason to order from anybody else. I also wanted to mention that Eddie is also a great dealer but since he uses a shipper out of Taiwan a lot of things are beyond his control.
  24. congrats....any pics?
  25. I guess nobody expected this Just received this PAM253 Regatta Flyback from River in just 2 days from Taiwan to California A lot of things are fixed on this one in comparison to the 212's out there, but judge for yourself - enjoy The movement and caseback - notice something? and the wristshots:
