  1. Hi Rolli, nice pictures I have looked at this new 172 for a while, just needs a different CG and Davidsen blue hands :-) cheers LP
  2. has everybody forgotten the wrong color of the hands of the second version - the most obvious flaw! Angus - great job
  3. Genuine today

  5. can't go wrong with Canon, clean properly exposed pictures right out of the camera - all my pictures are only slightly edited in Photoshop
  6. it started with me getting the first available 253 which was based on the old Asian 7750 movement - I upgraded to the Swiss Version with Sapphire and AR after that and couldn't resist getting the one with the new dial and better movement decoration thereafter...if there will be another better version I might get that too - I AM SICK
  7. it is actually worse than that I got 3x 253s and 1x 212
  8. I switch between my 212 and the 253 quite often - sometimes I like the simpler dial of the 212 better
  9. Sapphire and AR
  10. thanks - it's working
  11. no unfortunately it doesn't
  12. thanks a lot for the info
  13. Happy Birthday Dave - I miss the times when we exchanged emails/PM on the old RWG - Hope you will join us here in the future
  14. sleep well and thanks for all your hard work
  15. deleted!! just saw Wolf's post
  16. thanks for the headsup - now I can't even read the text in posts anymore
  17. same issue here - I have also started a thread about that
  18. @Admin here is some feedback on some "bugs" after the upgrade: it seems the multiple quotes feature doesn't work anymore or is gone I also couldn't find the bump feature. [*]When a topic is posted it is impossible to read the topic title and topic description - at least on my PC - since the field and font is black
  19. thanks Rolli as you can see from all my posts recently I have done quite some watch shopping
  20. My Sinn U2 has a special hardend double sided AR and yes it does smudge - it is also quite hard to remove the smudges. The Breiling AR comes off over time and scratches. As far as I know they use a special AR coating process that is better/harder than from any other watch manufacturer.
  21. @uziuzi that's totally cool! The pictures of the gen show that the AR is essential on any black faced watch - nice one
  22. the early versions had the original ETA/Valjoux rotor, but this was changed due to cosmetic reasons. I wish they would use the bridges and rotor from the latest version
  23. bought from a member here in the board - Enjoy the pictures!! This is the last one I post today
  24. the movement is simply stunning - Enjoy!
  25. Enjoy!
