  1. For Saturday: MBW Nautilus
  2. I remember that lanikai. Truth will out. The Zigmeister, you've been a "lifesaver" to many on the forum and I truly understand your reticence to say anything. Sometimes, as in this case, it's worth it to save members from disasters such as these. You're a sensitive guy and that's important. Personally, If i were in your situation I'd either say, "I don't give a damn what others say, here's the real scoop".....or not say anything, in which case many members would have been truly disappointed with their selections. ....but this forum (and the others, as well) have only benefitted greatly from your contributions. I would suspect that many members would have abandoned the "hobby" if it weren't for you and your valuable insights and contributions. Thank you.
  3. Great stuff Nanuq.........and Demsey. I actually owned an old J3 Cub many years ago that we used duct tape to keep it flying. Looked like sh*t, but it flew. Duct tape was actually stronger than the linen fabric on the bird.
  4. I agree with everything demsey said.
  5. Great watches. Starting the week with this one:
  6. fiddy with a baseball strap (unfortunately only photo of it I have.)
  7. Lots of nice ones today: for me Friday is Daytona day:
  8. Thursday is for this beauty:
  9. That Ebel is a stunner! My choice for tomorrow: 512
  10. Joshua, DGates misses you. I hear from him occasionally. I think he just wore out on the forum and is on to bigger and better things these days. Dems was your first? Amazing chance he took, LOL? I think I was in there amongst the first others and your still my dealer of choice. must admit I miss those old days when dealers were mysterious and it was always a great surprise when the rep showed up..... but I must admit I like the reps of today much better. Keep em' coming.
  11. Considering what vintages we've had available, other than MBW's, this is one nice vintage rep. Flaws? of course, Rolex vintages are the most scrutinized watches in the world, but, all in all, very nice bang for the buck.
  12. I've got the old school version, but aside from the one flaw in the lettering this one has a lot going for it. Wear it well.
  13. I've compared the gen and the rep side by side and I'll be damned if I can spot any difference. Maybe in Macro form I'd see it? If not the best replica...damn close to it. Nice one's Lani.
  14. I'll start the week with this:
  15. Lani, I've always been a fan of that particular Omega. Every once in awhile I think It's time to add it to my collection. It is truly a beautiful and distinct Omega. Wear it well. One of these days I will too. For me today:
  16. Wimple, different factory. There were several factories making these when they first arrived.
