  2. Great stuff, Corgi. I'm a fan of the VC's and agree with you completely. Your now armed, R. Good hunting
  3. I'm giving some of my Pam's some wrist time all week. Tonight: Pam GMT Saturday: Pam Power Reserve Sunday: Pam Ferrari
  4. Yes, Hats Off. Job well done!
  5. Thanks TD, that is my suspicion as well. Funny thing is that the cheaper asian mvmnt's have been more reliable for me than the "Swiss". I'll mess with it when it comes and will see what happens. Thanks for the input.
  6. I'm thinking of getting the cheaper movement since I have the same swiss movement (only) and would swap it. I wonder if the swiss mvmnt will fit the case with the cheaper movement. Their supposed to be the same but placement of the hands, etc. might be different?
  7. Wearin' a Pam 127 today: Tomorrow: SlyTech Pam
  8. That MB is one classy looking watch.......regardless of what the Gen costs.
  9. Starting the week with the Pam 8 day: Tuesday: Pam 111 Wednesday: Pam 183
  10. Very nice replication. Frankly, no one looks at the date wheel anyway (except us). As for lume....unless it's night no one will notice that either and even if they do they won't think twice. I have a lot of gens (including Breitlings) and after a few years the lume is reduced greatly. Congrats and wear it well!
  11. Great pics......fond memories.
  12. Tonight: The Green machine Saturday: Early daytona Sunday: Ingenieur Happy weekend.
  13. Tonight it's the AP Wempe: Thursday: Friday: IWC Cousteau
  14. Very nice review of an underappreciated rep. It is one of the nicest Omega's.
  15. Maybe they like my looks, but I've gotten my share of PM's and have always gotten thank you's. But then again, maybe I'm lucky. I do notice that the postings are filled with one shot buyers more than in the past. The tenor of the forums is different, probably because they have become accessible to a larger audience. I still thoroughly enjoy the interplay between members and really appreciate those that take the time to help Noobs with their questions. Compared to the Gen forums this place is heaven.
  16. I think this one is it for now. BTW, I think when they say 1:1 they mean eyeballed to the real deal not a picture. I'm sure that most parts won't interchange and both Josh and Andrew have said that to me repeatedly. Just means the factory had their hands on the real watch. Forgeries are still forgeries and will never be perfect. Anybody who thinks otherwise, I got a bridge I want to sell you.
  17. Josh is the best. More than 50 watches ordered from him over the years and all has gone excellent.
  18. Datewheels will always be sunken on 7750's. Not a big tell at all unless you're one of us. Anyone looking at this watch would be amazed at the quality and almost NO ONE could tell it's a fake.
  19. Tonight I'm wearing this beauty Saturday: IWC Sunday: Pam 188
  20. This one for tomorrow night: And Thursday: Friday:

Is Miss Understood on meds?? She/He seems to forgotten her/his roots.
  22. 2008 was the year of the "one/one" rep. At least they keep trying. For me, Breitlings finally made it into the "Accuracy" place that it lacked in previous years. Same for IWC, so many "perfect" forgeries....the Big Pilot (V1) being the latest. Chopards. B&R, Dewitt and on and on...... When I look back 3-4-5 years ago when we were thrilled to get a rep that looked "pretty damn good" to the stuff were now seeing it is a quantum leap. I think we are about to see some incredible stuff coming out of these "factories". For me, 2008 is the beginning of the modern, accurate rep that even AD's are beginning to have a hard time spotting. I suspect that the next advancement will be more variety of movements and more reliability. For me, personally, I'm having great fun watching the new stuff come almost every week. The most important thing is the camaraderie of these boards. You're a great bunch of dedicated enthusiasts and I'm happy to be part of it. What's next??
