FOlks,
Can anyone tell me where to get a set of hands for the 2893 PAM 063? Rep hands or gen hands for the 2893 - either one with do. Dealers - can you offer any help?
Thanks
Leitz,
You can see on the second picture, that space between the end link and the bracelet is a little farther than on the gen. Is that due to the end link or the first link in the bracelet? I was wondering is changing the end link would solve the problem. Just wondering if you noticed how the gen was put togethor.
Sorry - i think i messed up my description. They claim that it works the way the rolex and omega GMT's actually work. The date is connected to the hour hand. The hour is independant of the GMT.
Hopefully i am describing this correctly.
Hey guys, there is a new Rolex GMT from the dealers that has the hour hand independant adjustable versus the GMT hand adjustable. Has anyone recieved one of these yet - what do you think? I did a search - but cound not find a review.
It really looks great. I have been eyeing this one for a while. How is band? The other Omeag Rep bracelets have not been that great. Are the links appropriately close togethor and does how does the clasp work?
It looks great.
This watch is really sweet. The question - is where to get cheap movement that could be used to make a Franken watch. I wish that some chrono movement mimicked this subdial spacing. it would solve so many problems.
This is one of my favorite reps. It is really really close to the real item. The only issues are:
1. Date font - no way to really fit this one.
2. The lume dots near the numbers are a little smaller than the gen - no one would really notice.
Wear it proudly. Maybe if enough of us get these - we can make a market for some gen date wheels?
