Came across some brands of watches online (on ebay, ioffer, etc). Seems pretty good for the prices. Sample of one (Wohler Retrograde Power Reserve Black). Looks like it borrowed the bezel design from DeWitt. And I've seen retrograde watches from Do you know of these brands (Wohler, Louis Bolle, Rosseau, Eberle, Bernoulli, etc)? The prices are low enough that I can actually afford to buy one.

I heard this from one of the rep watch dealers here but since they're not on the same scale as the dealers here I thought I'd run it by the friendly and helpful people here. While I was selecting a watch to buy, the dealer mentioned that although she wasn't exactly discouraging me from purchasing any particular watch, she told me that they've had a lot of issues with watches with rotating bezels. One of the main reasons I settled on the IWC CD instead of the Tag SLR. Is there any particular truth to this?

Well, just did a cursory check of Perfect Clones' and silix's site pics. I wasn't able to get pics from trusty's site since it's undergoing migration to the new site. There are some differences in the watch construction. 1. The back of the watch of Perfect Clones is flat, silix's apparently is conical from what I can tell. (No reference pictures to determine better watch) 2. The font of the words "SWISS MADE" is gold on silix's, it's white on Perfect Clones'. (Gen's is white) 3. The overall construction seems to be better on the PC model although that may all be due to better photography on their part. By the way, both of the faces on the reps are different from the gen, on the gen the subdials are all white. On the reps, only the left dial is white, the others look like rosy in color.

I would, of course, considering I'd trade my reps and not so very good ones at that for my dream watch (see another thread for that particular watch). Besides it doesn't say I couldn't buy any more reps.

I purchased the 2004 version of this watch and although it looked great, the subdials were all off. I exchanged it for an IWC Costeau divers (still had the wrong dials, but it looked much better on me. lol). Then while I was going around the area, I found this new version and it looked exactly like this one. At 130$, but then that's what the websites are selling theirs for generally and I'd be better off picking something I can see than something posted on a website (although I know the dealers here are reputable, there is customs to deal with potentially). Unfortunately, as I recently parted with around 100$ for the SLR (now a IWC), a Patek Skeleton, a Hublot Big Bang and a Tag Golf for the lady (the only rep which was good, the Hublot and the Patek weren't although they looked stylish), I'm saving up for the next round. Still thinking about this one, the Grand Calibre RS and the Concord C1, which I saw at the same store. Wicked. On the subject of dealers, the dealer from where I bought the watches was knowledgeable and didn't [censored] me by saying every watch I looked at fit me perfectly. She also knew which watches were close to the Gen (she told me honestly that at the lower end, I shouldn't be expecting high quality reps). She didn't carry a Hublot so she pointed me to an acquaintance who had it and gave me a lower than usual price for it. And when I told her I found some high quality reps, she promised she'd send me a text message as soon as she got some and give me a special price for it. How's that for service?

For the amount he's asking, you'd expect at least clear and identifiable pictures. lol
