Hi, Thanks for the answer, mine stops SOMETIMES (only at nights when i don't wear it), but if i give it a little shake, or i press the chronograph button it starts running again (for a long time, so no power reserve problem). This problem occurs only when the watch isn't in horizontal position (e.g. not on the bracelet on the desk, but on leather deployant with the watch case in vertical position). So I think I might have the same problem as you do / did. However, I'll take it to my watchsmith, just wanted to know something about the problem and how to solve it, to have something to say the watchsmith about it. Greetz.

Hi again, I opened up my watch and took a pic. Please show me which arm i have to adjust, and in which direction (or is there a screw I need to tighten)? I read thet these arms are used to regulate the timing and beat, and as my watch keeps time within COSC (+ 2 secs ) I don't want to move the arms in any direction. Pic of my watch: Here's the link to the timing adjustment, maybe better pics of the balance: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=19163 Thanks!

Hi Toad, It unfortunately doesn't have to do anything with that latex... I removed it too, and after 4 months of wearing it looks like crap... On the inside the light brown colour is just painted, the whole strap is a piece of black plastic. This light brown colour will wear off the inside, and turn black I'll buy a gen calf... Greetz.

Really? AFAIK there is a swiss version with correct datefont, but yes, this one for 250 might be the old one... Well if you buy the swiss (2836) you won't be able to switch to 2824 as per gen... but if it doesn't bother you, go for it! Greetz.
-
That should be okay, but well, the old one has a regulator and the new doesn't... But I think that doesn't affect the balance. Greetz.
-
And did you order the modded slow-beat one? otherwise it won't work in the datora... Well, it will, but you'll lose a lot of funtions (day, date, month, 24 hr hand) and the subdial hands and the main center seconds hand won't fit :S Hope you ordered it especially for the datora! Greetz.
-
Yes, but I'd buy it from here: http://www.ofrei.com/page_183.html 159 bucks with incablock
-
Do you need the A7750 into your datora? Greetz.

Yes, it is available with 2 movts. Either Asian 2824-2 or ETA (swiss) 2836-2. The outter look is the same (even the sweep) of the two. I'd recommend you to go for asian 2824-2, and change it for a swiss 2824-2, since the gen has ETA 2824 too, not 2836. As a next step you should relume the dial and hands (dots aren't misaligned, but the lume is poor...) and send it for chief AR, and then you wouldn't be able to tell the difference Very good rep! Greetz.

Yes, I think you are right...
-
Yes you are right, it's fake... The seller's an idiot, he even tells that there's an ETA movement inside :D "On the perpetual weight on the inside, there is 25 jewels ROLEX 1940 SA and deep inside the movement there is 2836-2." Greetz.

Thanks for your reply, I think I'll start one! Thanks once more! Greetz.

Hi guys, I'm more a breitling guy, but I do really like these datejusts! Intresting tough, because I like breits because of their size, and in comparison with them, even the mens datejust is pretty small. I don't know why, I simply like 'em. In the near past, I bought a cheap TT one (very cheap, worth around 40$), just to see if the is good, and it is I just want to ask, how much does a gen dial and a gen crown (SS) (+ maybe a crystal) cost? Does the crown fit on the ETA 2836 stem? Thanks, and sorry for the noob questions, I'm not a rolex pro (yet ). Greetz.

Thanks for your reply. Is there any screw I will need to tighten? Anyway, we'll see that better on the photos! Greetz, and thanks once more!
-
Thanks, I knew this already, i was just afraid of XX16 like on the skyland V2... However, I didn't knew the dial colour code, so thanks for that! Greetz.

Let me ask what number is between the lugs at 6 on the current version? Thanks!

Let me ask V1 or V2?

Hi, After reading the Navitimer 1:1 topic, I'm really interested if someone knew about a new Bentley release... Currently only the Flying B Chrono is accurate, all the others have flaws... However, the fix would be simple IMO. -Inner bezel rotation (nothing special here, we have many reps that have this function via a 2nd crown on the left side to rotate the inner bezel without the glass moving, they should just add a gearing system to the outter bezel.) -Double AR (nothing special again) -Maybe they could replicate the 30s chrono (this wouldn't be easy to do tough...), but even if not, THEY SHOULD USE A SEC @ 3 movement, and add an accurate dial (with 15 minutes and 6 hours counters) like on the 6.75 they already did. -And last they should fix the thick inner bezel on the GT... Does anybody know anything? Greetz.

Mine was the same... removed that bit of latex from the inside of the strap too. Nowadays this latex started to come off on the top (croc style side), and had to glue it back with loctite using a toothpick... But now it's damn tight! Greetz.
-
Okay, I'd appreciate that if you could post a photo with this latex mod after you've done it, if it's good, I might consider to buy another one... Or save up for gen calf and I'll use it with the rep dep. clasp. Good luck! Greetz.
-
Well, you are right, it looks good imo too, but it will look like this after two months: The outter side is wearing off too, but only noticeable if you inspect it in your hands, not on the wrist, so no big deal. I'll need some natural light to capture this. Greetz, and congrats on your Skyland once more!
-
The whole strap isn't leather at all, it's a piece of plastic. It will wear very badly, and in 3 or 4 months it will fall apart for sure (at least mine did, had to use loctite...) I'll post pics! Don't buy it, it simply s*cks (imo, of course). Greetz.

This one you've linket totally sucks. Go for rep calf, not croc! Hope this helps. Greetz.
