That should fit without any mods imo. Gen is a top grade ETA7750, which's day-date wheels are fully compatible with the A7750.
I could be wrong though.
It won't fit. 100% sure. The gen uses ETA2892-2 + DD chrono module on top of it, which means the pushers and crown are not inline. On the rep, they are. Gen dial will fit only the gen movement, and the gen movement won't fit the rep case.
Sorry, I confused you. I wrote at first "at this price (if I remember right 488 + shipping)..."
I knew yours was that much. I'm 99% certain that it's the older, 17 Jewels version, but you should get it checked
Greetz.
Nice but for a little more (if I remember right 488 + shipping) you could get one with 25J movement not 17J. Those are nearly 20 years old.
Enjoy your watch anyway, it's a nice piece.

There are 3 versions.
V1: lume dots at 15, 30, 45, 60 - bad datefont - low beat movement = crap, stay away
V2: much better, refined dial, but can be still spotted at the blobby , uncentered lume, and the A173XX caseback
V3: Dial AR application is near perfect, caseback corrected, awesome AR and OR strap = THE WAY TO GO!
Nope not yet. How do you know I'm going to get one anyway?
And there is a genuine white baton dial and an ETA7750 on it's way already
All I need is V3 caseset and either a Pro2 Diver with deployant or a Pro2 bracelet. Haven't decided yet.

Yeah that. There is no 'haggle' in gen dials, no way. Gen is gen, they can't afford making such mistakes. The only variation was on the SA, when the small wings dial was running, the 8 wasn't cut off at the top at first. When they switched to Pro2, they made a facelift, the numbers got bigger on the dial (I guess) and hence the 8 is a bit cut off. Other than that, Breitling doesn't make such variations on the dials, like on one the dot is further than on the other one...

Yeah, it COULD be... But this is not going to happen with a rep caseset. (Or only with drilling new pusher holes, which would mean you could see the old holes on the side of the case...)
No way it won't happen.
The movement is different, this means that the dial feet are at different positions. This COULD be solved by cutting the feet off and glueing it onto the movement somehow. BUT: The subdial spacing is also a tiny-little-bit closer on the gen, which means, you can't use the A7750 as base movement. Now take it to a step further, let's say you can locate a gen movement somewhere (which won't happen). Gen uses an ETA2892 + Dubois D
Check out the wings logo on the dial. Same as the cheap quartz fakes. It's interesting almost no one looks at the wings logo, on breit reps and gens, that's the first thing for me to look at. It's an instant tell. The gen is so crispy and well defined, whereas the reps are often matte and crooked.
The first release's wings look good, but still not shiney enough. The best rep wings are on the Bentley dials IMO.
