  1. It seems the more expensive something is, the more problems might come up (I don't know if that also applies to gens?)... I have a more than 15 years old crappy 21J rolex rep (my father purchased it a while ago in Thailand) which still runs fine ( +/- 10 sec ). My ETA7750 Skyland starts to suffer from some chrono problem as well, the center sec hand does not move the min counter about 1 time out of 100... Not a big deal, but it bugs me... Things we have to live with, I guess. BTW, I'll post these pics in your eye candy thread as well Chief. Thanks for your excellent service once more! Greetz.
  2. lol, that's good, you buy the strap first, and then the watch
  3. 24mm. I've got my bracelet for it today, still waiting for the dial. I'll get the bracelet cleaning and oiling done as it feels like sh*te compared to my ouled rep pro2.
  4. I'd like to know that as well... Those links can also be disassembled, as a friend of mine lost an upper link accidentally. Well, to be straight, he's f*cked now.
  5. Yeah that! I like the style of both the watch and the car
  6. Here's a pic borrowed from Chrgod's excellent BCE review: Well, not the color combo you're talkin' about but I think the BCE also looks good on rubber (although it's a rather classy watch). I like it
  7. Thanks again for the comments, and I also love the black dial again, might keep it that way for a while... But anyway my WM asks 20 bucks or so for a dial swap so no big deal if I don't like it. Hackr: I could post a pic of the back of the strap if you wish. Greetz.
  8. Yes, that's a rep strap, never seen such a strap though... Came on my Flying B chrono. As you can see it's the tang buckle version and has correctly 'Croco Veritable' on it instead of the well known giveaway cuir. It also feels nice, I like it as well. Thanks for your comment! Greetz.
  9. Here you go my friend http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/261/img0066h.jpg http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/5651/img0068nfy.jpg http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/6012/img0067dil.jpg http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/9228/img0071bss.jpg It's gorgeous!!!
  10. I'm truly sorry Post pics of yours as well as soon as it arrives! Greetz.
  11. Hi everyone, I promised that I'll post pics once I get the crystal installed, but I'm always kinda lazy, so please forgive me. Anyway, enough talking, here are the pics, which definetely don't justice how beautiful the watch is... As you can see on the pics, the chrono hand resets to 0.3 seconds... Will have to give it back to my watchsmith to fix it I'm also ordered a white dial for it, but now the black dial with the AR is really striking, dunno if I will get the white one installed or not... What do you think? PS: If anyone wants hi-res photos I can post them as well. Greetz.
  12. It's a cheap fake with Miyota OS20 inside. It wasn't a good price for it, you can even get them under 100USD I guess. It's worth 150USD tops.
  13. Nope, it won't be like a swiss ever. That's why I went the S7750 route. Gives a robust feel when you set the time / date, or use the chronograph. The watch doesn't have the light asian feel anymore, that's very important for me, and was definetley worth it (again, for me). Decide yourself, considering if the extra 150-200 USD is worth it, or not. Hope I could help.
  14. As for the Navi project, his nickname is knmwt15000. You can find the topic here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=97183 As for other DWs (BCE SA etc.), Lello made them, but AFAIK he doesn't produce DWs anymore. Hope this helps. Greetz.
  15. Thanks for the heads-up Offshore, mine were instant change ones, they started to flip over at about 23:55. And yes I've also owned several ones with the copy movements, same functions, just not miyota signed inside... Well, I guess in a short time the chinese will rep their own products as well, so be aware og rep A7750's...
  16. It's a very reliable, bulletproof movement. Offshore - Are you sure about the date change? Have had around 40 reps with this movement (and OS10s and OS60s) and didn't know about the date thingy and set the date lots of times around midnight... Never had a problem. Anyway, it's better not to do it and DON'T have a problem than trying it and MAY have a problem... Greetz.
  17. Yes, that might be also true, I've seen some knock off navis here and there.
  18. Cheap fake with miyota OS60 quartz inside. Check the subdial spacing.
  19. That's swiss without a doubt.
  20. No (decent) rep of it currently. Some cheapos might exist, but I don't know about any.
  21. Have you seen it? I can't decide what to do... I'm currently saving up for a franken SA, but this thingy is my all time favourite. With proper AR and movement service it'll cost as much as a franken SA, so I dunno if it's worth it.
  22. Try contacting the dealers. Even if they can't source links, they should be able to get a bracelet.
  23. It's better than the standard navi reps out there, but it still doesn't line up perfectly. Only the earlier batch of navis did, and the new Montbrillant Legende.
  24. Nope, have seen the gen, it's also ticking damn rough, so no problem here. But you're right, this one will be a bit worse, but it won't be a 'screaming flaw' or anything like that.
