  1. Very nice mate, wear it in good health
  2. wait... That's a V3 rep right? Other than that, it's nice... I like it!
  3. You will end up with a nice and inaccurate watch. I wouldn't do it, but hey, it's your watch not mine I'd like to see the finished project though! Greetz.
  4. I like it, the Ocean racer deployment does it better for me, though. Still nice Wear it well!
  5. Hi Toad, I got it off eBay a couple month ago. It's the new 25J one. It seems that prices have gone up a bit since I bought mine... Here's the 'review' of mine (nothing compared to yours ): http://www.rwg.cc/members/blue-Skyland-t97...my+blue+skyland
  6. Nice gen, I like it
  7. +1 on that, love the Motors T!
  8. Either get it serviced (200USD) or get an ETA7750(around 300USD). I went the 2nd route... Edit: BTW, what happened to the pearl? It looks black!
  9. A Blackbird would be perfect for you IMO

    WM9 TT sub

Update: I've found a solid gold bracelet: http://www.ewatchparts.com/index.php?main_...products_id=851 Can the deployment buckle be replaced with the rep rolex one?
  12. + Flying B chrono
  13. Nokia N95 on the go, or my 80GB 6G iPod if I need the whole collection iPods cannot be beaten!

    WM9 TT sub

Thanks for your fast response! Do you know if the noob TT subs are available? I'd like to try one out before I go for the WM9. Or any cheap but acceptable possibilities? Thanks!
  15. I'm quite new to Rolex, so I might ask some noob questions, but please forgive me. I've done research for the last two days (yes, I know that ain't enough...) I want to purchase a WM9 V2 blue TT sub, as soon as they become available. As it's not on the market yet, I know you mightn't be able to answer these questions, so let's talk about the previous model. Is it available with solid gold bracelet? I've read on the WM9 forum that the midlinks are gold plated brass (although George says it's solid). I'd like to have a solid gold bracelet, which won't fade, if possible. Are the crown and the bezel also made of plated brass? As far as I know, WM9's are the best (with BK's mods), so if I'd order a BK WM9 16613, what would be still off? I'd appreciate if someone who owns this model would post a pic of the watch how it looks after some time... I'm sorry once again if these are typical noob questions, I've tried my best... PS: Is there any good tt sub which I could try out for cheap? Thanks: Johann
  16. Stick with the trusted dealers here. Otherwise you might be asking for trouble, trust me. Check this: http://www.jpc8118.com/0000tgca01001-grand...750-p-4817.html
  17. If it has a regulator, I guess it's a 21,6k A7750 or a swiss one. Which one are we talking about?
  18. yodap

    6497?

Yepp, this is a swiss one with incablock shock absorb system, but missing swan neck regulator.
  19. If I were you, I'd add the ETA as soon Gen dials become available, or if your A7750 dies. For me adding the ETA completely changed the feel of the watch, I mean time and date setting, operating of the chrono felt just simply gen... Adds a lot to the overall feeling IMO.
  20. Yes, it's 28,8k, but that's a very old movement, you can never know where these come from, how much they ran before, etc... If you want an ETA Skyland, build one like I did with the 25J version.
  21. Looks fantastic! Can't wait for the review... Wear it well! Greetz.
  22. Thanks man, I really like it! If you are ever going to buy a Skyland, get the V2! Believe me, it's more accurate. Greetz.
  23. I guess no. But if you want to see a good (not stock 17Jewels, but 25Jewels) swiss, check mine http://www.rwg.cc/members/blue-Skyland-t97933.html V2 is still the winner. Greetz.
  24. OK, no problem here, I hope we are cool now Greetz.
  25. Well, where and when did I call myself an expert? I'm hangin around here and other Breitling / rep sites, and I know quite much about Breitlings (models, mechanical movements and modability), and my statements are 99,9% of the times true. I don't want to mess with you or anyone, I'm sorry if you feel like that. I haven't seen that model with ETA clone till now, your post has confused me, "The one you're referring to has an ETA clone...." ,as he was referring to the swiss version. I thought that you assumed that it's a clone because of the less gears in the reversing wheels, as I guess you also know a lot about movements. Although I've been here for almost a year, I still have to learn, and I'll always have to. Sorry once again if I hurt you, I didn't want to. Best wishes: Johann
