  1. OK, I have to believe you if you have owned all the three models, as I didn't own any BCEs. I'm just judging by the web pics and the reviews. BTW all the V3 dials are messed up. Posted pics of the V2 and V3 wings next to each other on RG, but I just can't find it right now. It's the same for the bracelet. Greetz.
  2. I don't think the SFSO was ever offered with a clone. There are 3 versions: Swiss ETA + sapphire + AR DG2813 + mineral + no AR DG4813 + sapphire + AR I'd choose the last option. Available here: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=34410 As for the pics on josh site, I think the more holes in the reversing wheel is just not visible because of the angle. It has a Novodiac shock absorb system, which seems to be the more curvy swiss version. Greetz.
  3. +1 on that
  4. I still say there are 3 factories... V1 V2 V3 If you ran the V2 factory, would you create a crap dial and a crap bracelet for a new version? Or would you just use the perfect ones? I would...
  5. OK, but I guess you don't have a V4 or a V5, so we can't state it's the same caseset as the V1. It might be similar, someone should buy one and see if the crown thread is visible or not. As for the V3, it's from a different factory. That's a fact if you take a closer look at the dial, bracelet etc. That was stated hundreds of times, and that's why users swap the V3 bracelets and dials for V2 ones. If it came from the same factory, they would have used the better dial and bracelet I guess... I haven't owned any BCEs till now, so my descriptions are based on the comments on the forums and on the pictures posted here. Have a good day
  6. Sorry, but you're wrong. The V3 comes from a different factory than the V1 / V2. I believe the V4/V5 are updated V1s** with correct DW, D-AR, hands and dial. That's sure. Edit: **I'm still not sure, and we can't state that this is true until somebody buys one.
  7. Nope, the gen 6.75 also has a regular 60s chrono. As I stated on RG, the SA is closer to gen, but the 6.75 is beter quality, very well made. The SA lacks small fine details on the dial, whereas the 6.75 is still perfect even with a magnifier. Greetz.
  8. The gen has the tick as well. V1: dark hands no ar crappy pearl bad engravings wrong datefont no tick after 10 BUT: correct length minute markers at 14,16,29,31,44,46 V2: good hands double AR good pearl + engravings better datefont (still no good though) tick after 10 This one has the best Breitling rep bracelet ever made BUT: incorrect length minute markers at 14,16,29,31,44,46 V3: specs same as V2, BUT: perfect datefont NEGATIVE: incorrect length minute markers at 14,16,29,31,44,46 Crooked "B" between the wings on the Breitling logo V4: same specs as V3, BUT: no crooked logo correct length minute markers at 14,16,29,31,44,46 NEGATIVE: no tick after 10 V5: Everything perfect. Hope this clears things up
  9. This might help you, friend: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=59167&...navitimer+bezel Greetz.
  10. Check the tools and parts section, Defender110 might be able to get a lello DW for you.
  11. Yes, I know. But they know they blinged out a fake: " ice out labe made diamond breitling!!! $3200 call john 646-372-0981 " The genuine article without any diamonds costs more than the double of their price.
  12. There's a better version already. This is the V4 BTW. http://www.jpc8118.com/0107a-p-6305.html This is the V5, it has the tick after 10. This dial is perfect.
  13. +1. A good story BTW
  14. Not a wrist shot, but I'm still wearing this one, the RED SKYLAND
  15. Welcome. Keep your eyes open if you wanna get a B13! Greetz.
  16. You're welcome friend Gen B13s are very hard to come by, you can identify them by looking at the auto winder bridge. There should be 7 numbers engraved, the same what can be found on the caseback and on the COSC certificate. It should look like this one:
  17. They are basically the same, other than the 2836 could also handle a Daywheel if it was present, and due to that it's a bit thicker. That's the only difference. I still don't understand why they used this one for this watch (and also for the newer edition SOSFs) as the Day function is not needed, and this movement is also more expensive. Not to mention that the gen uses a 2824...
  18. I think that's a great combo. I'd also like it on blue Ocean Racer.
  19. Nice piece, enjoy it!
  20. Well, that's a fake B13. No COSC. number engraved. This guy was selling lots of them, even some without pearlage and Coates de Geneve. He's a scammer. Still a nice 7750, though
  21. You can send it back but you won't get what you want, as it's not available with 2824. So the return of the watch is kinda pointless...
  22. That's wrong. There's a 2836-2 inside, believe me
  23. The new seawolf has 2836-2 in it, which is kind of shame, because the gen uses 2824-2 (and that movement is also cheaper, so I don't see the point why they put the 36 in it...). As for the accuracy, there's a fine adjuster, use a screwdriver, you should be able to regulate it to -/+ 5 sec or even better. Good luck!
  24. Yes, I'm sure that could be the problem.
  25. Rhack: yes, the previous model with the wrong dial and bad datefont was offered with swiss movement inside. The Ultimate one is only available with an asian heart. Kbh: You're right I guess, but in reverese. His watchmaker might have sourved a 2836, as THAT is the thicker movement, not the 2824. The SOH is only offered with 2824-2 Clone. Greetz.
