  1. It ruins the AR coating. They could recoat it, but the proper method for a gen is replacing the crystal imo...
  2. What about fitting a seawolf dial in a seawolf case?
  3. I know that... but the Bentley 6.75 was only offered with single (INSIDE) AR... That's why I don't understand it. WHAT could peel off?
  4. I know this is a very old thread, but... How the heck could the AR peel off if it's on the INSIDE??? Mine is still fine after a year... I'm in for the next Chief Double AR tough!
  5. I think this is rep AR, isn't it Chief?
  6. A very bad, cheap fake...
  7. Which model? For the 6.75 you'll need a wrench, the other ones should unscrew with the method recommended by Andrew
  8. Thanks Chief!!!
  9. MOVEMENT SHOT!!!!...
  10. I have a 6.75 and it's tight. I guess it has the same bezel construction as the navitimer (only the rep, the gen is different), so this might help you to fix it: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=59167 Greetz.
  11. It's normal mate, even gens are hard to push (not THAT hard, but pretty close). For reps it's fully normal.
  12. Hi folks, Is there any way of getting the blacksteel skyland case dial and hands? I have a spare A7750 laying around what was removed from my blue V2 skyland when the ETA7750 was fitted. Could any dealer source it? Or should I buy the complete watch from Hont? Thanks!
  13. The first really good franken navi we'll see I guess... Other than the some 12-9-6 configs some fellows members put together already! THE FIRST TRICOMPAX FRANKEN NAVI!!! WHOOOO!!!
  14. Yes, that's it. Sad, but true.
  15. Thanks, that's great!
  16. If you asked the guy please keep us updated! Thanks!
  17. I know that, gen navis don't have quickset date, so no hole needed, and I know the HBB's as well, but this guy modded it with a 7753! He even drilled the case for the pusher (altough it's inaccurate...)! Take a look at repgeek! Greetz.
  18. You should ask the guy who upgraded his HBB with a 7753 from the modded 7750. The situation is the same! http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=57739&highlight=7753
  19. Yes, the SFSO is much better made. Go for the one with asian movement but sapphire + AR! It's around 160 AFAIK, and it's really worth it!
  20. Go with the SFSO, it's small, and very well made.
  21. Yeah, i knew that, thanks for the warning anyway! Mine is resting in natural olive oil already
  22. Thanks for the tutorial mate!
  23. I'm going to put an ETA7750 into my skyland, and I will also repolish the case and bracelet. When should I do the ultrasonic cleaning + oiling? Before, or after the polishing? Is nature olive oil good for this? How long does it have to be in oil? This is going to be my first bracelet oiling... Thanks, waiting for your answers!
