  1. Not a wrist shot, but I found one here at the and of the first post: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Let-s-Breitlings...0&start=120
  2. Yes, the AR compared to other reps is quite good, compared to chief's, it's a layer of a blue film... Mine is pressure tested to 50 ATM, suitable for surface swimming. get yours tested!
  3. you can find them from 200 - 300 if you are looking for small wings. If you are lucky you can get them even cheaper!
  4. I've heard about some issues with the BB like yours... Full service is the way to go!
  5. I've got a black one, let me know if you want to see a wrist shot of it.
  6. I already contacted diamond castle... "sorry, I dont have any skyland dials"
  7. Thanks for your good wishes, I might visit them this weekend, but I've got the flu, hope I'll be okay tomorrow. I check eBay everyday, but no luck... The AS isn't a very popular model of Breit. BTW why is it a problem that I've posted the link to the AD's website? Greetz.
  8. I held the gen and my V2 in my hands, and: -V3 caseback is more accurate -V2 bezel is more accurate (numbers go almost to the edges of the bezel like gen, and the numeral one has the correct shape), but engraving is not as crisp as the V3 tough. EDIT: the V2 also has the "B" on the bezel stamped like gen, vs etched on the V3. -V2 pushers are more accurate -V2 dial is more accurate (logo is bolder like gen), but the lume triangle at 12 is a bit worse (if you plan to relume it, it doesn't matter...) -V2 bracelet endlinks have the serials etched like the gen. -V2 production year between the lugs is fake and etched w/ incorrect font (no one will notice...) All in all, when you hold the gen and rep in your hand, the rep screams rep, because of the dial. You can't point out a flaw on it what's different, but there's a huge difference, especially on the stamped numerals on the dial. The gen is MUCH crisper. Hope this helps! Greetz.
  9. My father often goes to the capital city, so it's no fuel wasting. If they CAN order them, they WILL. If it's impossible without owning a gen and sending back it's old dial, they won't. That was the question I've asked in my first post, if it's possible or impossible. This is be the AD I'll be going to. "Our Repair center has the exclusive rights to maintain watches of the following brands: Cartier, IWC, Panerai, Tag Heuer, Frederique Constant, Mont Blanc, Fortis. We are also duly and officially entitled to perform the maintenance of Breitling watches."
  10. DVS posted this at repgeek: "Only if they have an, by Breitling authorized, watchsmith." The closest AD to me has an offical breit service inside, so if that's true, we might see some skyland dials! But I unfortunately can't promise when I'll get to the AD, as it's 2,5 hrs away from me by car... Maybe at the weekend, but not sure. Greetz.
  11. My question is, that if an AD (or some guy in the servicing center) would be able to get skyland dials if he REALLY wanted to. I talked them on the phone and they said they have to send the old dial back to breitling (which would be a replica in this case). But, if they could order them without sending the old dial back, I could make my father convince them He's really good at it... Unfortunately the next AD is two and half hours from me, but next time we will try... It'd be better if you'd say how many dials would be needed, purchasing more dials might help the deal come together! Please write your opinions and what dial you'd need! I hope this will happen! Greetz.
  12. No, you don't have to push the button, and the slide rule is bi-directional.
  13. No, that's wrong, it's an inner gearing system, what allows you to rotate the inner bezel with the glass being fixed, it makes it more water resistant. Click on the "VIDEO" tab on the right of the picture, it clearly illustrates it's function: http://www.breitlingforbentley.com/en/mode...bentley-675_0-5 Hope this helps. Greetz.
  14. Sorry, no. I've seen some but they were very-very cheap quartz based fakes... Forget about them... Greetz.
  15. They do that with the bentley line watches. PS: I'm not into bling that much, I'm just happy to see it because if they'd start blingin' out the dials, we might get some gen dials for this otherthanthedialperfect rep. I'm hoping for this to happen... Greetz.
  16. Nothing much to say, here it is! Maybe we'll see some gen dials soon? Plus something to mention I found this pic when i was looking for skylands on the bay (look at that datefont!!!) : http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sell/SSPr...12_4%20copy.jpg WTF!? Greetz
  17. AFAIK it's made by the HBB maker, and since there IS a HBB Lite, they might produce a lite version of this one as well, but who knows...
  18. Maybe we'll see a new version after the new superb montbrillant l
  19. Yes it is.
  20. First of all, everything is better than vista. Secondly I believe you can install windows on it, but after doing that you'll lose the warranty. If you plan to use just these functions you mentioned, you are good to go with linux, but you'll need to get used to it a bit! Hope this helps. Greetz.
  21. Let's hope there will be correct, centered, and flat lume dots
  22. the gmt master 3 w/ pepsi ceramic bezel is for real afaik...
