  1. I think ou should be able to handwind it, it's a chinese 21J auto movt, some jewels may have been added to it due to the PR complication. BTW, does the PR work?
  2. Just a phone pic, can post a really big one if you want Sorry, I forgot to resize it. Greetz.
  3. Thanks for the information, don't give up! Greetz.
  4. It isn't broken 'that much' , the hour and minute wheels are loose, so these hands don't move. Chrono and small second works, everything is alright with it, and has over 40 hrs power reserve. I might keep it for parts as I have 2 A7750 powered watches, but maybe I'll sell it. Don't know it yet BTW, it has the 12-9-6 config, so it isn't good for the navi datewheel raising project May I ask what do you need it for? Greetz.
  5. I paid 180 bucks with broken movement, this was a good deal for me, as I planned to swap the A7750 for ETA7750. The case itself was like new.
  6. Yes, it's a V2, I bought it here from a member, but it's the same as Josh's, they come from the same factory. Adding a gen dial would make the watch almost indistinguishable from the gen.
  7. Mine: BTW, where did you get your movement from?
  8. Let me answer this: A franken is a replica with genuine parts Greetz.
  9. Hi there, just wanted to share some pics, and do a little 'review' of it, or something like that: I chose the blue dial version, although it's not the perfect color, but anyway, if you hold a black rep next to a black gen, you will spot the difference, so I didn't care. Once gen dials will get available, I'll be the first to get one The blue goes nice with jeans or whatever, a great watch for everyday use! So here the pics: (sorry, the system didn't let me embed the pics for some unknown reason) http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/6834/img0224z.jpg http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/6834/img0224z.jpg http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/5990/img001.tif Some movement shots, you see something nice, don't you? http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/134/200520091029.jpg http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/346/200520091027.jpg http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/2595/200520091028.jpg I hope you enjoyed it, for me this is as good as the real thing, especially if a gen dial will be fitted. Not to mention it cost less 1/6 the price of a gen, I think I've done it right. Greetz.
  10. Both gen and rep MBL exist with white dial, and both have a black slide rule insert. That's correct!
  11. Looks great. May I ask how much did you end up in price? I have a Skyland with ETA7750, but I still need a gen dial for it... I realy like this Navi! BTW, please keep us updated with the 7753 project Thanks! Greetz.
  12. One more pic... Enjoy! http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/2249/skyland2.jpg
  13. +1, waiting for the news
  14. You already have the perfect DW for the MBL. The one the movement currently uses. You take out that one from the movement, install a wrong font DW, and place your CURRENT DW on the top of the wrong one with the mentioned. This is the perfect mod for the MBL, with correct datefont. Greetz.
  15. Thank you, I'll give it a try! Greetz.
  16. You're right, but he didn't make navi wheels. The font is the same other then the single numerals, which aren't rotaed on lello DW-s.
  17. The title says all. It's an A7750, and I want to remove the blue paint from the movement screws (the gen doesn't have it). Is there any easy solution? Acetone maybe? Thanks!
  18. That's sweet! Ain't that an AOPA model?
  19. Black Bentley 6.75 Blue Skyland V2 w/ ETA7750
  20. Because of the quality, and feel. I compared my skyland V2 to a gen at an AD (The dealer is a personal friend of mine), and I can't specify any difference other than the sunken pearl on the gen and the lume dots, but the overall build quality of the dial and the crispness stamped numerals. A whole different world I might say. Greetz.
  21. SW gets my vote...
  22. Leave the motors model alone, get the 6.75. (Motors specs: No AR, secs@9=inaccurate, no 30s sweep=inaccurate, sunken DW=inaccurate, the slide rule lines up perfectly tough!) The 6.75 has the secs@3, which is correct, has an accurate 60s sweep, the movement is really good (get it serviced if it's a keeper!) and the slide rule lines up perfectly. It has single AR which is O.K. with the white dial, but you should get it coated by Chief for other dial variations. I can't say anything about the white dial as I have a black one, but according to Dave123, the white dial is spot on! In comparison with the mentioned models, I own a Skyland and a Bentley 6.75, the overall build of the Skyland is better, but the dial is much better made and is more 'crisp' on the 6.75! A piece of art I'd say! Greetz.
  23. I have a V2 Skyland (same manufacturer), and the thread seems to be very well made, and solid. I think you won't have any problems. Greetz.
