imo, if you get the white SA, go for the black Bentley. I'll post some pics with the black dial once my crystal gets installed, I still have to wait for the white one. Stay tuned!
Yes, of course I will
As for the black, I only found a phone pic, which is decent, but not that good. Please note the perfect angle of the crystal, seems like very good AR, but it isn't...
Yeah, exactly what I wanted to say. Isn't the pearl too close to the edge of the rider tab? Looks weird.
Great watches, wear them well! (I'd sell the gen though )
I currently have a black one, have compared it to the gen, but the gen has some metallic or I dunno what shade, so it isn't perfect, but as it's black you will only notice this upon a close inspection.
As for the white, I've just ordered a white dial. Dave said it's correct, so it must be My crystal is also on it's way back from Chief, it'll be a killer!
Greetz.
The datora has some flaws like:
-incorrect day/month font
-incorrect dial print color on black dial
-incorrect dial color shade on white dial
-slide rule doesn't line up
-slide rule numbers too far to the edge of the crystal
-21,6k instead of 28,8k beat rate
-no antireflective coating
The MBL has only two as far as I know:
-sunken DW
-DW should go more towards the edge of the dial (talking about 0,1mm here, not a big deal)
I'd go for the Legende.
Gen uses 2892-2 + a modified DD chrono module. Think of this: They managed to modify this old 7750 to act like the 7751, but they couldn't do it with the new 28.8k A7750. I guess the 21.6k version is more moddable due to parts availibility, or I dunno, but I do believe that they managed to create a true 30s chrono.
Nope, the 6.75 is photographed like that as well. If you look at the side of the case, it's thicker than the crrent version, which means there are some additional gears
I think they managed to replicate the 30s chrono.
That's good then, again, I was just judging by the pics, as I only have a V2. As for the crooked serial, other V3s are good, Toad was just unlucky and got a faulty one, but as I've heard Peter replaced it for him.
So you say I should keep the V2 caseback? I was thinking about getting a V3 to switch the chrono sec hand and the caseback...
I have my own opinion about the colors...
If the rep is not next to a genuine one, no one will spot the tiny color difference. But if you hold them side-by-side you will spot the difference anyway, it doesn't matter if it has the perfect shade of blue for example or not. So go with the color combo you like imo...
Here's a pic from Toad's superb review:
The V3 caseback is more accurate. I think you just got confused with the VX labels, damn, they are impossible to remember!
Greetz.
Nevermind, I've found it:

Looks OK, but the clasp looks cheap. Can be replaced with another rep clasp though.
I know quite a lot about Breitling, but wouldn't say I'm a master - yet.
I still have to learn a lot, as all of us do!
Your watches are great choices, I'd have gone for the V2 Skyland though.
Thanks for your comment!
Greetz.
