  1. I got lucky on Rolex Forums! I just bought a gen crystal for 35.00. It is a 16710 and I am going to have it installed on a WM9 V2. I know it is for a GMT II but I think the AR on cyclops would be cool on a Sub.
  2. This will probably answer all your questions. http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=6261 Joe
  3. I accidentally bought a gen insert thinking it was for a 16710. After the auction ended I realized that it was for a 1675 or 16750. Does anyonr know if this insert will fit into my BK Transformer? Thanks
  4. I have tried to find for the life of me the part number for the 6mm twinlock crown for a 16710. I am looking for on for a Transformer and want to ensure I get the right one. Thanks Joe
  5. I know one month is not bad to wait. Evidently he has all the parts for the project just needs time to build. But I just sold my 1665 and need something to replace it.
  6. So I am wanting to buy a GMT 2 and after speaking to BK I realize that it will be over a month before I can get one from him. He is away on vacation for the remainder of the month and said it would take a week or so to build so I estimate it would put me at the end of April before I could get it. I have scoured the forums looking for a used Transformer or Coke Bezel on to no avail! Is there another dealer that I can get one from and be happy with. I have read many reviews and am torn. Will I regret not waiting later? Anyways thought I would get some advice on alternatives to BK's GMT as it appears that no one is selling any and I am not sure I can wait. Thanks Joe
  7. Ken Thanks and it is fine now, next month I will remember to pay with clams, Joe
  8. I have had a recurring paypal payment to upgrade my membership and this month it came out like usual but now today nothing. I need to post in the trading zone and cannot. Help please, Joe
  9. Just curious if there is such a thing as a rep "rail" dial that anyone has seen?
  10. Sorry for my ignorance but I saw Jaeger fans and this is what came to mind:
  11. Sorry about the size, I did not make it any bigger. That is what is attached as. I will pay more attention in the future. I thought it looked suspect. Makes me wonder about the crystal being gen as well. Oh well, another item to add to my list of upgrades, lol. Thanks for the input.
  12. I purchased this watch and am on the never ending road of modifying it. I was told when I purchased the watch that the crown and tube were gen. I have no reason not to beleive the seller but thought I would get everyones opion as I keep coming across posts on the 24-702 crown and am more unsure of mine. Thanks in advance
  13. While I will not bee selling the watch as a gen or doing ay "high interest flauntig" it is something that I have an interest in doing. I know that the serial is not correct and it would bother me. Maybe it is a touch of OCD I guess, lol.
  14. Well I took my band off of my older MBW 1665 DRSD today to find out what the serial number was on the case. Now I do not know what to do. My dial is a Mark IV dial that the best I can find was manufactured up to about 1977 with serial numbers ending in low 5 million. Well my serial number is 5.7 million which clearly falls out of the time period where Double Red dials were used. So what do I do now? I can continue with creating a version of the Mark IV and ignore this or go another route. My serial number falls right around the cut off where I could use a "Rail" dial, or just use a White 1665. Anyways, thought I would run this across everoyne and see what would be my path of least resistance. Sourcing a case with correct serial numbers for the dial, or sourcing a new dial for the correct serial numbers I have. Anyways thought I would ask.
  15. I am looking for some Gen Tudor hands for my MBW 1665 and thought I would give this a shot. Thanks
  16. Vlydog The do have pics. Go to Eurotimez88.com and after the xml screen loads click on "new watches 2009" then click on "mbk_rlx_1-1_DW" for the pics. Nanuq I hope they do as that is what I am planning on using it for.
  17. Eurotimez now does have the silver open 6 and nine, flat top 3 date discs for eta 2824/2836. They are 20 bucks each. I ordered two of them and will post pics when I get them.
  18. I would be interested in a few, if nothing else to experiment on for that price.
  19. I currently have an older MBW 1665 w/ eta 2836. I have been trying to source a date disc that has both the open 6's and 9's as well as the flat top 3's. My question is will a Rolex date disc from a 16800 work on the eta movement? Thanks
  20. Thanks Thanks and Thanks Thanks Thanks and Thanks Thanks Thanks and Thanks
