Brat: Try firmly pressing the crown in while turning the crown counter clock-wise. You should feel a click when it gets to the point where the thread on the crown stem starts. At that point firmly turn the crown clock-wise. If you feel that the grown is just not going in far enough to engage then I would have to guess that is it a misplaced o-ring blocking it. (from a mutual member pfran42) That is how it worked on my Euromariner.

I have ordered from Chris at Eurotimez and it was fantastic. From Thailand to Southeastern US in 7 days. I am about to order from Andrew at TrustyTime but check out the Trade Review section. Many different people deal happily with several dealers, so I guess it is up to what watch you want and where you are.

Let us know how it goes, but I personally would stay with the dealers on this site. They have a strong presence here and have been vetted by many members.

Great thread. I love the vintage WWII planes, nothing like them. Several years ago I was driving next to Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio. I see this black line in the sky coming towards me. Then the thing banks and it is B2 and two things almost happened: 1. I almost crapped my pants. 2. I almost drove my SUV into a tree on the side of the road because I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It is amazing to me how far technology has come from the beginning (B17) to the current (B2).
