There is a whole world of knowledge here that can help guide you in making your project the best it can be and people here that will help you do it. Just think about the feeling you will get when you open the package with your new re-lumed watch (Done RIGHT). Can't put a price on that!

I am talking to some of the Dealers to see if we can make this happen. I think we all love this watch and having the correct dial would be great. I really want this to happen for the community (and myself) but I hope other members speak to the dealers they have relationships with and gauge their interests. As we all see there is a market, and if we push, a dealer will see the potential and work with us.

I think in times like the ones we are facing, it is easy to forget about all the blessings that we do have. It does my heart good that your fortunes turned around. For me this place has been a haven and a pleasant passion to distract me from the other very real and depressing things in life. We just have to remember to keep fighting and never give up. If you fight hard enough then the light at the end gets a little closer until you are finally there.

They did one over at RWI and the person who set it up is a member here as well. He is currently out. I just PM'd him about it a couple of days ago. I want one, and if enough people add to this thread, maybe we can convince one of the dealers to set this up. Thoughts?

Take some photos of the Longines. I would be interested to see it. Also, I would consider upgrading to supporter status. You can see all the amazing reviews and information plus have access to the dealers whom have proven very trustworthy. Enjoy this place, it is a great community.

Chris is a good dealer. He will take care of you. Post pics when you get it. And look on the bright side, you still have another nut to use when you have the craving for a new rep.

Good choice btw. I am not a fan of the gold plated watches because you never really know how good it is. With the stainless steel, you never have to worry.

We can reassure you all you want, but once you put that thing on, you won't need us anymore. Nice choice on watch and dealer. I am sure you will be happy. Also, make sure you take lots of pics.

Have patience. I have had stuff stuck in customs for over a week and I eventually got it. It is a waiting game. If it is seized by customs, contact your dealer and he will make it right. Hang in there.

Is it just me, or are these prices spiraling out of control.

There are some good dealers out there. Search and look at the dealer reviews and the reviews by some of the esteemed elders of this board. They have a ton of experience in dealing with all kinds of watches and dealers. Also please consider joining the forum as a supporter. It unlocks a great deal more information and will save you a ton of money on the back end. Happy Hunting.

Welcome to this wonderful world. What you will find is that many different people have great relationships with many dealers. It is all about who you feel comfortable with. But the great idea of this community is to share information and help each other to enjoy this great hobby. I urge you to upgrade and contribute more because the savings and the information is well worth it.

Owned? The dealers here have taken the time to earn the trust of the people of this community. Through good service and products they have built up a relationship with this place. I personally have never heard of sinowatches and won't go looking for them either. Even the apprentice collectors here take time and effort to build up the level of trust here and our moderators do a very good job of monitoring the level of quality offered. And Pieter, I don't think that was a compliment by Wombat.

What about CONUS, EU, or WW (worldwide). I think it is a good idea. Helps the members out.
